so is this mxl 4000 the same size like the sterling st77?

@voiceofexpression Yes, it's similar in purpose and style, though I'd bet the Sterling is better quality. I've had the MXL for close to 3 years now, and it's been a great starter mic. If I keep doing more recording, I'll eventually switch to a mid-range condenser like the ones made by Shure or Blue. But the 4000 is a massive improvement over a dynamic.

LOL Thanks Telmar! I was lip-synching for the video... We recorded the audio separately and then shot a whole bunch of video and cut and pasted it together. My brother Josh did the lead guitar and the drum tracks and I did the rest. He gave me the sheet music so that sure helped!
