season 6 had 3 more episodes after this one, season 7 was cut short with 11 episodes due to the writer's strike, and season 8 is coming out later this fall with 18 episodes. Season 8 will be the last season, Braff (J.D.) and Reyes (Carla) will be leaving. Bill Lawrence may leave as well, though there are rumors the show will continue following a new set of interns

I love this. The song fits right with the situation. If you would have watched Scrubs ever sense the first episode, you would think JD would get Elliot, but no, there just friends, but JD wants more. I wonder if there gonna do that in season 8?
