Death metal is just really heavy Thrash Metal . Deathcore is a mix between Hatebreed style Hardcore punk and Brutal Death metal like Suffocation,The Discription of Deathcore sounds good but once you listen to it ,it lacks and originality. Most Death Metal Songs Sound different from eachother but most Deathcore songs sound so simmilar that you cant tell the difference between bands. And Deathcore is more Hardcore punk than Metal thats why its called DeathCORE!

Ok heres the difference. Deathcore uses more Screamo vocals and death metal rifts. Metalcore uses more Metal style vocals and regular metal rifts. Theres lets all move the fuck on.

I just let live, Breakdowns is not the reason I listen to Deathcore and Hardcore in general, it's the rebellic spirit of Hardcore and the brutality of DM...

@Amanoavon No, elitists are far worse for multiple reasons. While the annoying people in the deathcore fanbase may be a minority, elitism in death metal takes up about half the fanbase. That and to some elitists if you don't like a certain band or you look a certain way, you aren't a "true metalhead." Now I like death metal a whole lot more than I do deathcore, don't get me wrong. But I would rather speak with 1,000 deathcore fans before I speak with one metal elitist.

Atleast Hardcore music evolves constantly, look how it went from Minor Threat to Despised Icon, Death Metal has been a little stuck since the 60ies imo. (Yes I know for a fact Death Metal started in the 60ies.)
I'm not saying Death Metal is bad, I have taken quite a liking to many Death Metal bands. Problem is people of either genre are so trained in the ear of their music that when something new arrives, they do not understand it and simply it invokes anger. There is a reason it's so popular.
Death metal is unoriginal. There's no talent to the vocals or drums at all. Death metal vocalists can't hit highs and lows. The drumming is so uninspired it's sad. Let's compare that to deathcore vocalists and drummers. Vocals have highs and lows and the drummers mix it up and many are including polyrhythmic time signatures. Two of the members of Animals As Leaders started out in deathcore, and I know for a fact AAL is better than anything the dated genre that is death metal could ever produce.

Death metal is just really heavy Thrash Metal . Deathcore is a mix between Hatebreed style Hardcore punk and Brutal Death metal like Suffocation,The Discription of Deathcore sounds good but once you listen to it ,it lacks and originality. Most Death Metal Songs Sound different from eachother but most Deathcore songs sound so simmilar that you cant tell the difference between bands. And Deathcore is more Hardcore punk than Metal thats why its called DeathCORE!

Atleast Hardcore music evolves constantly, look how it went from Minor Threat to Despised Icon, Death Metal has been a little stuck since the 60ies imo. (Yes I know for a fact Death Metal started in the 60ies.)
I'm not saying Death Metal is bad, I have taken quite a liking to many Death Metal bands. Problem is people of either genre are so trained in the ear of their music that when something new arrives, they do not understand it and simply it invokes anger. There is a reason it's so popular.

Death metal is unoriginal. There's no talent to the vocals or drums at all. Death metal vocalists can't hit highs and lows. The drumming is so uninspired it's sad. Let's compare that to deathcore vocalists and drummers. Vocals have highs and lows and the drummers mix it up and many are including polyrhythmic time signatures. Two of the members of Animals As Leaders started out in deathcore, and I know for a fact AAL is better than anything the dated genre that is death metal could ever produce.
