I know exactly what the F-16 is capable of. We've had about 36 F-16's in our inventory since 1980's. And we'll receive a batch of 18 new Block 50/52's in 2010.
But we're not relying on F-16 and rather mass producing our indigenous built Multi role fighter, the JF-17 thunder. 250 of those, 40-80 J-10 Dragons, and F-16's would serve as a decent fleet.
Anyway, We don't require the Apache. For AT, we have AT squads and self produced Baktar-shikan AT rocket. Gunships are fading out anyway.

F16's are not the fighters to underestimate.,, they come with some extra surprises.
I have not seen that cobra in the top 10 helicopters... we've got the Apache Longbow.. not for sale.
