that day was AMAZING, the weather was beautiful, she was brilliant. i was there to see Coldplay and im glad I got to see this artist Brandi perform. I loved it when she threw her guitar picks into the crowd. I almost caught one but the girl next to me got it lol

so pretty. i think its funny how all these other women are singing this song and not even coming close to brandi's version. she wrote it and she sings it from her heart, the others are simply mimicking greatness. kelly clarkson wishes she had this much heart and soul and i dont even know who that chick from greys anatomy is. how can you sing with this much pain and conviction if you havent written it and lived it? keep doing what your doing brandi, its all very beautiful.

@TheFancyWalrus1 1. They have poor technique and weak voices 2. the sound man does not know he can turn the volume up. 3.A combination of both. I find it quite irritating. But it's a great song, nonetheless.

@UncleTito72 all true but I would suspect that in this situation it is more likely caused by the fact that she is singing into a Neumann KMS 105. That model of mic although a GREAT sounding mic is very prone to feedback. Playing on a stage with loads of stage volume (amps, drum set, stage monitors,etc) the sound guys struggle to get enough gain before feedback. Because her voice can only get som loud before she starts losing control the only thing to do is get as close as she can to that mic.
