I think the reason why I'm drawn to these 2 movies, is that they both show people not to judge a book by it's cover. Like, Kevin is just an abused kid w/some bad childhood memories, looking for affection - not a lost cause. And Denver isn't really a cold-blooded murderer on death row - he's just a normal guy who made some bad decisions growing up w/o good parents. Ya know?
