  • Well, if you're going to charge that much, I might as well just buy blank edged shells and buy my own hardware, and make my own custom kit. Have the metal parts powder coated to what I want, and stain my shells myself. Sounds easy enough.

  • truth or sjc or shine! idk!DX

  • @okTH3nMaN sjc!!!!

  • @okTH3nMaN SJC

  • classy but flashy :))

  • this guys a douche.. learn your shit before you go on live idiot

  • I'm selling a Risen kit if anyone is interested....Risen's a Sick company!!!

message me if interested, and I can send you the info and my email.

  • SJC does not make their own shells, they do not make much of anything themselves, they buy keller shells from precision drum and just put them togetehr and such. Not worth the money. The only thing you really pay for is the finish, which any true drummer knows doesnt matter for shit.

  • drummer guys. .

can you use a snare stand to mount that tom in front. . if not what king of stand should i use?????????

. i'm sorry i'm new on the drumworld. hehe. i like this kind of set up. .

  • @07SayOcean just use the bottom of a cymbal stand and then get on pice from you tom stand that mounts your toms to your bass drum. Just take it off, and put on of the mounting pieces and put it in the bottom of the cymbal stand. it looks better that way then it does with a snare stand

  • these guys seem to worry more about the look than the sound

    thats just me tho

  • @shaunbrucken123 they do care a lot about the look, all customizable, but the sound of SJC drums is amazing too! All top notch quality. But it is a custom drum company, so the look is gonna be fore-front too.

  • @shaunbrucken123

well there is a mrket for it though you must admit. is it staying power? time will tell. I want to know do they mfg thier own shells or are they Keller

  • My SJC custom Drumkit will be done by the second week in october. Sure they are a little on the expensive side, BUT nothing, and I really mean NOTHING beats their quality/craftsmanship as well as their amazing customer service. I ask questions all the time and they answer withing 6-12 hours of me sending the email. Mike the owner is the nicest guy ever too haha. Can't wait to meet the guys when I go pick up my kit!

  • expensive but good

wouldnt mind myself the butcher kit

  • you might as well refinish some other drums instead of buying customs its just not worth the cost

  • what does sjc stand for?

  • Fucking love those butcher hoops

  • is there any SJC dealers in indonesia??

  • there are only like 3... u usually have to order them

  • I spent 8,550 dollars on my custom SJC drums, and it was worth it! This kills my 10,000 dollar OCDP drum

  • your crazy atom.

shine custom drums are getting up there too. but yeah sjc is awesome too the matches use their drums so awesome but i play shine drums because customer service was amazing they got my kit ready in i think 6 weeks which was amazing super fast and super high quality.

  • That's some serious funds Dude.. Only you will know the true value of your kit. You should post some photos so we can see it's true beauty...

If I spent £8550 on a kit in the UK, that would be

    $13,977.68 in the USA

  • I think people are fooled by the finishes. Keller shells are good shells and sound good too. But all this is is finish, finish, finish. I'm sure SJC sounds fine but I'd rather spend a ton of money on a Tama Starclassic or a Pearl Masterworks (the craftsman picks the wood, bends the wood, cuts the edges, finishes) . . . yeah these guys are the emo kid drummers wet dream. You'd never see a Tomas Haake on one of these.

  • Actually these sound amazing, especially their bass drums and snares.

  • I would not be so sure about that as they are sponsoring the new england metal and hardcore festival.

  • I totally agree, BUT isn't that the idea of CUSTOM drums?

  • at 2:20 you can see my snare right below the comptuer

  • damn i wish i could afford one of these lol

  • Danny Duncans kit! it is beautiful!

  • Those are some tight drums, I like the Truth drums too though.

  • Truth are good too, but I think that the tone of SJCs are WAY warmer and better

  • Yeh truth visually are nice.. I haven't met a Truth player.

What do you think of Ayotte?

  • I've never heard of them, who are they?

  • I like the Pink set. I could rock those haha

  • sjc are good drums.

  • people are saying they are just like ocdp....fuck no

sjc kills ocdp, sjc sounds so nice, i just got my kit the other day and it sounds soo sweet!

and as far as price its cheaper and better value than ocdp!

    keep it up sjc 1

  • The hard thing about Drums... is a entry kit could sound like a Custom kit... It all depends on the acoustics, the way it's tuned, the heads and even the way it's struck. Oh yeh, and the sizes and materials toO!

There are many many Custom guys out there. It's hard to commit to just one.

  • who cares how the look, how do they sound?

  • The new emo/pop-punk custom drum manufacturer of the month. Ugh.

First OCDP, then C&C, now SJC. Only difference is that C&C makes fantastic vintage-style kits. OCDP and SJC just make "bling" kits, IMO.

  • theyre soo expensive

  • not really. I could get a really nice 1 up 2 down acrylic kit with butcher hoops for the same price as a 6 piece DW.

  • i liked the green flashy one

  • wayyyyyyyyyy better than ocdp

  • I wonder if I could get some coupons.

  • that kit with the pink hoops is maddd cool

  • im getting a sjc 6 piece acrylic kit w00t

  • dude did you get it yet

  • classy but flashy lol. i liked the fake rope tension bass drum. should do tht with my bass drums.

  • They're awesome!!!

  • sjc damn straight.

    they know whats up.

  • that's sexy.

  • mmmmmmmm, yum
