Iv'e been watching your series of the seasons. I've had a Schirmer's Library edition of the book for years but have always put it off... so I am starting January with January... only the piano is digital, the cats are old and the room is not as bright and sunny lol, but I noticed something odd written in my hand across the cover (which I don't remember writing), "In a year's time".
thanks for posting... Im gonna look up your posts if I get stuck and need help!
Hi! Thanks for watching. I'm happy to hear you've been watching my year of seasons. It has surprised me that people are watching me. It's pretty cool. I especially like it when people want to give it a try, too. I can't believe I did them all!
I know what it is like to be interrupted half-way through a tune by an ignominious cat (see "The Day Septimus Fell In Love With Octavia" video) :-D Unlike you, I would just carry on in a higher or lower octave. Once it were over, I'd murder the friggin' cat :-(
The reason I stopped was she scampered across the bass strings (you can hear them bong) and that always makes me nervous....I don't really like her INSIDE the piano on all the working parts....HA!
this is really cool.
did you do all the months on the months (did that make sence?)
like you play november on november and october on october? etc? that sounds really fun to do

Yes, I did. I spent a year learning all 12 and I worked on each for a month (in order!)

Thanks for watching. Yeah, my cats can be quite a comedy act.

O, Maggie! And it was going so well until that moment.

Ha! Yes, it's particularly nice when they do that when I'm teaching. It can "freak" a kid out when a cat charges...then they laugh.
