the fuse has a layer nitrocellulose lacquer, which is a water proofing agent, the green or red fuses only

@jjcombop33 the fuses have their own air supply and the fuse has a special covering that kind o f water proofs it. however it will oly work if the fuse is lit then goes under the water

@b9y because the engine puches the rocket forward, and yes, the line is the rocket travvelling

@vickeviking66 You mean the rocket pushes it forward into the ice yes, what b9y meant was how come the water didn't put it out. The answer being the rocket pack is a solid fuel source which does NEED (works better with) air, at the temps it burns it vaporises the water around the flame instantly creating a propellent (oxygen) which is actually what causes the track under the ice you see. :)
