Don't buy the Altec Lansings!! They are shit!! Won't even fit in the ear properly.
There are no good bluetooth headphones on the market atm, the best ones I had were the Sony DR-BT21G but there must be some sort of a shortage or something because few places sell them now, and the ones that do, sell them for A LOT of money, probably because of a lack of competion as companies don't feel the need to reduce the price as there isn't any1 selling them!!
I know the jaybird sit very well if they fit your ears and most importantly wont move... but do the altecs? I need to be able to do everything at the gym without them moving at all... ie sit ups, skipping, push ups & chin ups... once they start to move im gonna start getting annoyed to shit and if that means the sound isnt just as good as the altecs then so be it but if the altecs dont move when i do all that stuff then ill take them over the jaybirds for sure.
I returned a total of 3 sets within 6 weeks..nothing but problems. Some days they wouldnt even power up. They had constant loss of signal...ive never had so many problems with any product in my life. They were recalled quickly at a lot of retailers
and they're very comfortable after the initial pinching. easy to pair too.
and i hate to agree, but they're garbage. i had 3 sets in one year, every 3 or four months the set would go bad. granted motorola warranty held and the 2 extra sets where free, with the exception of shipping.
The night before I was going to get the Motorola S9 HD's, I came to the net to see if anyone reviewed them. I stumbled across your video and had no idea that the BackBeat 903s existed. I listened to your review then went to Fry's the next day and bought both. I ended up taking back the S9s. Thanks for doing this review. If it weren't for your review, I wouldn't have a great pair of A2DPs right now!
The Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800 is a POS. Sony never makes good bluetooth headphones. How does the Jaybird sound with the acoustibuds on it? Does it sound better than the altecs with the acoustibuds?
I ordered a pair of the IS800's recently... they have no volume controls so the a2dp sound output is at a fixed volume since you cant control a2dp volume from the iphone.. not too big a deal since the volume is at a good level for me (some complain its a bit loud, but i prefer that..) After a full charge I'm getting random disconnects from these.. Bought them on ebay so it might be a bad set that I got suckered into... otherwise theyre not so bad..
@Northernkingdom I disagree, I've got some Sony DR-BT22 bluetooth headphones - they're rugged, work great with my iPhone 4 (including all controls) and the sound and battery life are great. The only thing I hate about them are they're a bit plasticky and don't sit well on my shaven head (when I say shaven, I mean bald ;)

hi all please can you advise i just got the Jaybird 200I headset and they are utter crap. BT dropouts, earbuds poor fit and general uncomfy hate them. So i go the gym and workout so i need a good set that are comfy cant decide Moto S9-HD or Altec Lansing 903 i have a n97. which will be best when bench pressing, running etc..thanks all
get the altec lansings... especially if you'll be laying on a bench press since you wont be able to lay your head back with the s9-hd's... I use the altec lansing backbeats every day..
hi they finally arrived had to wait 2 dam wks from seller! but tried my AL 903s in the gym today and here is my findings compared to the Jaybird 200i. AL903s nice build thought the wire was going to be to small but fits perfectly. My god the sound on the lansing is fab. Also the fit is really good the JB200 made my ears stick out. And yep you can wear the ALs with specs. Charge very good and i love the controls to. I cant track fwd/rev with n97 using the 903 but not a show stopper so thanks
my sony bluetooth headphones i hate them they sound like crap dont work all the time, no true audiophile would use bluetooth headphones period. my $5.00 earbuds sound better then sony bluetooth headphones
Thanks. Really helpful..

Keep an eye on the Budsgoblue. These could possible be the best all around bluetooth headset for the gym freak and audiophile.

Hey there,
Has anyone had experience with the Motorola S7-HDs? I'm interested in how they compare to the Altec or the S9-HD?
Thanks :)
