Now lets stick with statistics - Canada has more firearms per person then any other nation; very few killings or firearms related offences. The USA is rife with shootings and gun-crime and the UK (where I am from) is increasing in gun related crimes and a massive increase in illegal firearms. I know, as an ex-police officer, that the UK is by far a safer place compared to the USA. As far as statistics, London has the highest in the UK. Lambeth and S.E. London are shocking!

I've seen nothing of the sort here up in the north, even if I did, I wouldn't take it. Down south I can only use stereotypes, since I've never had a reason to go there.

I would also expect a 9mm bullet to be fired more often since the striker doesn't have to do as much work to get the bullet out. but I read somewhere (can't remember where now) that it was the other way round. Maybe a typo that's sunk in. But since they're illegal I've no idea if it's true or not...

Just so you know, MAC-10s are capable of firing .45 bullets.

They're actually capable of firing faster in .45 configuration than in 9mm config... Only like an extra 50 rounds per minute between the two configs though

Also, "buy guns off the street"? only in London can you do that... London these days provides a very inaccurate view of the rest of England, or even the United Kingdom as a whole.

Oh you sweet kid. I guess watching too many movies has had an effect on you. Believe it or not, when you get to be a 'grown up', you'll realise that the world isn't like it is in movies - the cool guns kill people in real life. eg which country has relaxed gun laws? USA. Which country has a murder rate several times higher than Europe? The USA. Coincidence? Maybe. So - to summarise: Country filled with guns = Lots die. Country with less guns = Less die. Can it be any simpler?
