The part about the Muslim was effed up for sure, but they're jumping to conclusions to assume they didn't do anything bc he was a conservative. It could've been bc there isn't a large Muslim population there and they weren't afraid of losing money from offending them. There's obviously a large(r) black population at UT and a boycott by blacks would put a dent in their bottom line. Money is the biggest incentive to action.

It's amazing how many liberals seem to be at UT Knoxville when it's out in the conservative eastern part of the state.

That being said, a death threat should've got that person expelled if not a little time in prison to think it over.

Thankfully, UT Martin is not quite this liberal. Many of the students and faculty seem to be Blue Dogs, more moderate Democrats. Not great, but better than the ultra-liberal BS one would put up with at UTK or the ultra-conservative BS of a religious school.
