You people saying they look lazy are rediculous. Drilling should be slow, controlled, and precise. I personally choose to learn from as many people as I am blessed to be around. Dean is the sh*t. He's shown me tiny little things that make mountains of difference and I'm a Lion's Den full instructor.
One thing you learn in BJJ is slow the fuck down. When you are at the stage of learning things have to go slow. The instructor has to see your movement in a conservative fashion so he can correct your mistakes. Then as time moves on and you become more experienced things speed up.
Deans Great but the guy in the begining of the video teaches most of the classes , and blackbelt or not , he is just SO-SO, I would try Rodrigo or some of the smaller schools in SD , not the Mc Dojo Throwdown is. Sorry but it's the truth . Buy the way it's also not the most respectfull thing to cuss on the mat.
I have heard the same thing. Elias teaches most of the clasess and NOT Dean..
Also as some one else stated, everyone on the mat looked lazy.. maybe this was the beginner class. I would go to Univeristy of JJ or Rodrigo if I was in town. But i am biased to Saulo's school since my current teacher is a Humtia BB.
I teach EVERYDAY at 4:30 and Mon and Wed at 6. I also teach the Pro MMA class at 6 on Tues and Thur. Just FYI. If you are training with Rodrigo or Saulo, then either way, you are in great hands and both are awesome instructors and competitors.
