If you were paying attention you'd see that most of the footage was captured off of video monitors.  Undoubtedly, most of the noise recorded was that of other spectators looking at the monitor and not engine noise. I'd rather have the music than a bunch of random noises.

Its a great sports car! Its not just about the horsepower, but also the light weight. That improves the handling, and the power-to-weight ratio. Truly a great, world class sports car. Now for the negative- It doesn't look very different from the ZO6, or the regular C6 vette. As such, it doesn't speak to ALL who see it as a superlative. Mostly just car guys will recognize it. Sigh, such a noble effort, wrapped in a body as common looking as a paper bag. (But I still want one. :-)

+1! Notice that it doesn't roll much at all in the turns. It's moving at a good clip, evidenced by the nose dipping suddenly under braking. He's not just cruising along for show. But then during the turn, you barely see any body roll. I think thats the magnetorheological shocks controlling the suspension, resisting compression on the outside corners. This isn't merely just another stiffly sprung car with big Hp! The CF brakes should stand up to high heat under heavy track useage, too.
