I am sooooo happy that Amanda survived, ive seen and heard so many horror stories, and the child doesnt make it!!!! Bless her heart, what a fighter!!!! i hope the man that did this to her rots in hell, and her mom gets run over by a car!!! i have a 5yr old, and if anyone everrrr put there hands on my baby, i would freaking kill them in there sleep!!!

I hope the mothers visits are supervised.To the dad happy to hear this child had a safe loving home to go to where she can get over her terrible abuse.Glad to hear this story ended better than other cases,and to the childs grandparents it is great you are there for your son and his child.I bet this child laughs ,and plays and smiles alot now.She probebly wont ever forget all the abuse she went through,but at least now she will have plenty of great memmories to look back on now too.

Why do they keep putting off the trial for this Monroe guy? Last I was able to find, it's been set off until May 2012. And btw, I fully support criminal charges for the mother as well. Unless there is information that I don't see here, she is not only guilty of passive physical abuse, but also of medical neglect.

I'm sorry..but why are you blaming Dawn? when Kraig is the one who did it? I know someone who was in the same predicament (but the baby was 4 weeks old) and now she's married with a beautiful baby she takes care of..it just wasn't her fault. The 3 year old couldn't just say exactly what happened..so the mother didn't know. But man that guy is a cunt, I would love to punch him in the stomach.

It's so great to hear that this story ends with happiness and not tears. Rarely do you come across a child abuse video on youtube where the child gets saved. Kudos and blessings to Amanda's father for stepping up and being a real MAN and DADDY. I just dont understand how someone can hurt such beautiful and innocent children.
