@ttomb5 I haven't played this, or any MMO for that matter, in a while. I am pretty certain though that you click, or double-click on it. A horseshoe, or saddle, icon should show up when you hover it above the horse.

You mention Crafting. What kind to you mean? I used to play an old game called UO and you could be a crafter like a blacksmith and actually mine rock and make stuff.

the shadows kind of are like making u unseeable so i would try to do this like in the morning on the game if thats it i would give it all the stars

I believe that the beta is all closed.  If you pre-order from Direct2Drive, you can download it and play before the actual release (I think the 22nd). The game is full of people and it isn't even to the official launch yet. If you really enjoy crafting or the original Star Wars Galaxies, definitely get this game!
