What if we want to take a section out of a recorded AVI file? they are all 10 gigs a piece... I only need about 30 seconds from each 10 minutes... how do I take out what I need, and then delete the rest to get rid of unwanted memory? Everytime I take out clip and save it to project and delete the larger video it was taken from, it can no longer open the file since I deleted where it came from.

What do i need to do in order to take out a section from a large recording so I can delete the old?

I have 2 video tracks on my video, how do I delete the video on the second track without removing the audio of it? So basically i want to be left with the audio of both tracks but only the video of the first one. Or is there a way just to hide the video on the second track?

@HaloSpartanGamer For the Video You mentioned that you wanted to delete, Just Select it And Hit (U) Or Right click --- Group --- ungroup That will Ungroup the audio from the video and you'll be able to delet the footage with out deleting the audio as well

I'm editing a video with multiple tracks of audio. Some of thew audio tracks dont begin until near the end of the song. I simply want to delete the first 10 seconds of everything. How do I cut it out the first 10 seconds and still have all the audio tracks line up correctly with each other?

when i rendered the video, it rendered as a 20 minute video and the last 6 minutes showed a black screen.

how do i get rid of those last 6 minutes?

@MrXCrAzEdScOpEzx You need to separate the video and audio because they are grouped together. If you click on the video/audio, then right click and go to Group, and select "Clear All". Now you can delete the video or audio separately.

what i need to know is how you put the videos back togehter when you have cut a piece of it out, now i know you should drag it but isnt there like a faster way? cus what if my video consists out of many little pieces and lets say i cut something out somewhere at the beginning does that mean i have to drag all the upcomming pieces one by one?? i want to be able to move multiple pieces at once:p

@IK0Nx IF you press CTRL+Click you can select multiple segments. This will make them easier to move, but you can also right click and go to Group and Create New, which means they will all move together as if it was one giant clip :)
