I cant see favre beating the saints at New Orleans, for sure yes in Minny but the game is in New Orleans and the Crowd will be Loud when he takes snaps unlike last week it was quite in minny.
Favre is 0 and 3 in his last three playoffs Road games with 9 Interceptions. Thats Awful.
His last Playoffs Road win was back in 1997 NFC title at San Francisco.

It isn't even Thompson's fault for Favre signing with the Vikings. Yes it was Thompson who traded Favre but it was all Favre when he made the decision to 'retire' from the Jets and ask for his release and then to sign with the Vikings.

Okay, as a Packer fan I have to say that I still love Brett. ANd I'm sure that he still loves the Packer fans. He was an awesome QB, and we will never 4get him. Rogers is still a great quarterback and the Packers have a good team, so I wouldn't go that far. The confidence they showed in Rogers was admirable and it's paying off now. But certainly, I think they could've handled the situation with Favre a little better. It sounds like behind the scenes, they were pressuring Favre, and then they kind of squeezed him out. They way it ended.......Favre deserved better.

It has nothing to do with cover2 defense.If there's no pass rush,any QB would tear up the packers.I agree with you one one thing,they did get out coached,but I think it didn't help having Clifton and Bigby out and having 2 rookies to replace them.That's a sure loss against a good Vikes team at home.

I was wrong about the pass. I just didn't think a coach would be dumb enough to sellout so much against the run for 4 qtrs. after mathews got the fumble TD the coach shoulda focused on favre. instead he stayed in a cover 2 to keep someone in the flats for AP and favres short passed but farve carved them up because their safeties are soft! that TD was not on Harris it was on the safety. even a 39 yr old qb can kill a defense wen the coach creates mismatches all over the feild

It's funny how we as amateurs can come up with a better game plan,but the coaches can't.Last coach I like for the Packers was Holmgren,the rest were just warm bodies.Also a big factor was the depth chart disruption due to injuries.Packers are pretty thin on D as it is,and a couple of key injuries really hurt.BTW the safety that blew the cover was Derrick Martin.Never heard of him.Practice squad,free agents?Who knows.Lets see if they change something next game.Peace
