@shaundolphins Thanks, and thanks for watching. My sound comes from a Digitech GNX4 Guitar Workstation. I like it but it still has a slight processed flavor to it. But overall its pretty sick, I like the built in drum machine and 8 track recorder and its all foot controlled. I teach so its an awesome tool for me. My amp was a Boogie at the time, which I blew a few weeks ago, my new Marshall Tube Head is on the way now. I am excited to see what it will sound like.

i can understand how this can be a bit complicated for people that are total beginners. maybe the people commenting here are newer players. i myself have only been playing a year but it makes perfect sense. learn your notes on the 5 and 6th strings guys and it will all come into play very easily.

anyways good lesson man. can't wait to get home and try it out!!

i havent watched ther whole video trough but you should say that you have to tune your guitar to drop D, or the chords don't work :D if in standard you just do (from low to high) 577xxx, 779xxx. 577xxx, 799xxx, 799xxx, x577xx... and so on
