I agree. Basketball is a team sport and this is where Marbury fails. He could have played with KG, remmeber, but he wanted to be The Man. How could you not want to play with KG, one of the most un-selfish superstars around. Twolves, NJ, Suns, NY, where exactly did his teams improve with him? The same teams where Kidd or Nash excelled. There is a consistent pattern in his failure. Did he ever even play a playoff game?

You do realize that Marbury had the chance to play with KG. He had Amare during the 2002-2003 season and Jason Kidd didn't have Carter for most of his New Jersey years...Marbury is a hell of a player but the word "teamwork" doesn't cram into his mind.

Stephon Marbury is a fool if he in any way associates himself with Vick, a vicious, cruel dog killer. He has said that he approves of his behavior and equates it with shooting deer. He has no sense of how big this issue is. This is a country that spends millions and millions on its pets (whether or not you agree with this I'm stating a fact) and to mess with those people is death. He's going to prison for one and by the time he is allowed to play again he will be too old.

WTF? so what? did those 3 teams win an NBA title lately? don't judge steph, considering on what he went through. even if you have the greatest PG, who will he pass to? he cant' just shoot it all the time right? Nash is probably one of the greatest PG in the game, but with teammates like Amare, Marion, Diaw, Barbosa, Bell, Etc. who could all finish, it just adds up. so don't blame steph for his failures. i'm not a marbury fan but hey, i know talent and skills when i see them..

none of you "marbury fans" know anything about basketball. if he's so good, why did the timberwolves reach the conference finals AFTER he left? why did the nets reach the nba finals (twice) AFTER he left? why did the suns reach the conference finals the past three years AFTER he left? has marbury even got past a single playoff series? no. so, i ask you, then what has he accomplished as a player in the nba?

since allan houston retired, starbury has been my favorite nba player. he gets to the rim with ease and is the best in the business at it. i feel he is the best player to come out of brooklyn.
