Nonsense. The US has the largest media in the world and from all political perspectives. There is so much news information put out on a daily basis in the US that it is simply impossible for one person to read it all in a day. We have several news portal websites that have dozens of new news articles every day.

So, any American can get any news that they seek since all the news of the world is available here.

It's a free country, not like some countries where government controls the media.

Well strictly speaking the President in the US was limited to 2 terms only in 1951 so he could legally do it. However, there was a tradition of being President for no more than 2 terms since George Washington so Wendell Willkie attacked Roosevelt for assaulting the custom.
