God has given to mankind what he needs. The Arabic people needed some calming down and, as much as we see Islam as a violent civilization, at the time of Mohammed the Arabic people were a ferocious and wild war-like society. Mohammed's teachings had, in fact, a calming and softening effect. At the time of Christ, the people of the Middle-East were devoid of love and tolerance for one another from the differing tribes. Jesus came to teach them what the needed.

Well, not entirely so. Ever heard of the Crusades? A dark time in Christian history; the Crusaders left their homelands to venture into Islamic territories, laid waste to whole towns,villages and cities,looting all the wealth,raping and killing all the people and burning what was left - all in the name of Jesus Christ! Many went off to the Crusades for the express purpose of gaining wealth. Then there are more recent witch hunts & other persecutions carried out by Christians throughout history.

response --1--Dear Sister Melanie, thank you for your comments. I would like to just correct a couple of facts, if you'll allow me. The Sunni and Shi'ite sects of Islam are the most extreme. The Shaykh'i school of thought and interpretation was highly regarded, by both Sunnis and Shi'ites, in Persia at the time of the mid-19th century when The Bab arose to teach the new revelation from God. It is said in the Holy Books that one will know them by their fruits.

I am not surprised you do not accept The Bab and Baha'u'llah as Messengers of God; Moses suffered persecution in His time, the Jews did not accept Christ,

However tens of thousands accepted The Bab and Baha'u'llah even during their lifetimes and today, just 164 years later, there are over 7 milliion Baha'is around the world. Whether you accept or not is entirely your decision, however I would urge you to investigate the "fruits" of Baha'u'llah and search for the truth in His teachings.

Thank you, bahai is a manmade faith, the beauty of it is taken from Islam. through logic & historical evidence there is no proof that the bahaullah was a Prophet. It seems to have stemmed off from an extreme sect of islam called the shaykies. they had flawed principals of God already! they were a perfect target to start a new religion with! Bahulah did not fulfill ne islamic prophecies about the awaited savior. Just like people 2day claim 2 come back as Jesus & the jewish messiah, etc...

Sorry to say this....but the issue is Bahai' idealogy is by no means recognized by the PEOPLE living in Iran; no matter what the policy of Iranian government is. Specially when this idealogy is strongly backed up by US, British and Israeli government; Sounds phishy!

On the other hand, it is well established that British politician made their best effort to support and help Bahaism grow in Iran and be replaced by Shia'. Even now, British, American and Israeli administration are supporting Bahaism as they always did. Don't tell me that Bahaii are not invovlved in politics. Thay are.

because of The Truth the love that BAHA'U'LLAH(The Glory of God) had put in my HEART to ACCEPT Muhamad as a messenger of GOD and to love all the Manifestation of the past jesus ,krishna moses ect GOD IS ONE and all the messengers came from the same GOD to educate and guide humanity to progress in this life and after and to give adapted law that suit the age they manifestated , there is a one progressive religion revealed age to age .religion is one like God is one, HUMANITY IS ONE
