im good thanks :) got 2 silvers :) also pre-grading tomorrow for 1st kyu! we have a new regional manger too so that could be fun haha. how are you?

i didn't do too bad, i got silver in kata and 4th in kumite. tbf they fucked it up mega bad. i won 4/5 fights. there were only 6 people in my catogory aswell. ah fell. who do you have as a regional manager now then?

ah that was good! sounds like they got it really wrong then if you only lost once at got 4th.. that's bad lol. we have sensei nik jones! had my pre-grading yesterday and he said there was no point holding me back another month to grade so he graded me yesterday! :D

Just saw this and was wondering how you went at Melbourne. A couple of friends of mine competed and said the atmosphere was awesome. Also they said Kancho put on an impressive display and showed a new kate he had developed.

refereeing was really bad for at least 3 people from my region including me... didn't win anything for kata which is probably fair enough but in kumite i was totally robbed... been working on it a lot since my last tournament and won the first round 2.5 to 0.5 then in the second round the other guy was winning by 1.0, I figured him out and managed to get it back to level so it was a tie-break at the end, he throws out a stomach punch that lands 10 cm short and the ref scores it... I was robbed!

yeah i should be competing in september :) my university's funded me to go to australia too for the world cup so that's gonna be fun :) im so lucky haha

i got two silvers last tournament.

i was only blue belt then though, so i suppose it wasn't that bad.

i know-i watched you-i knew two of the competitors(they are brothers,the ones who sparred for gold and silver)-well done mate-thought it went quite great.did you get anything?

i did seiunchin in instructor division again(this time it was split into 2 rings) and i got gold by one point-well chuffed.

yeah i watched you-you did pretty damn good to be honest. i got 8.3,8.4,8.4 on first time and got 8.1(from a judge who apparently didnt know the kata well) 8.4,8.4.plus the main judge was my own regional instructor,but that didnt change one thing. at the end of the day hes just a judge in this case:P

well,same here-i mean,im gonna carry on doing seiunchin if i can go to the world cup,but if i cant,im moving up to sepai,wehich is one of my fave katas to do. mind you, they are oprganizing funds for me to go,so well see what happens;)

i was in the instructor division for male,but i didnt get anything.however,i only love tournaments for the experience and nothing more.

anyway,i've been doing seiunchin for the last five tournaments(including this one),and i have got two gold medals(one at the nationals),i silver and 1 bronze.

im doing kanku-dai for the next tournament :O people say im crazy for doing that,but then im a crazy guy anyway;)

it was my 6th tournament by the way;)
