The only thing that stops me from going to Japan is that i dont know their language or lettering :/

the thing is i go to greece and spain a lot but i can understand their language a lot more, and i can read their lettering (apart from greece). ALSO the majority of people there speak english unlike in Japan, so i feel a lot more comfortable.

I never made deep fried myself just had it in restaurants and I find bbq squid is very dry and chewy. Have you every tried squid stuffed with fish and spices and baked? That's really good too!
