i got a camera for my psp 3000 and t keeps telling me that i must insert a camera compatible with the psp, i tried cleaning the parts with a small brush but nothing has worked i need some help

@aidan773 You have to pull it towards you while holding it down. Then, while still holding it in that position, tighten it up by the left screw on the camera. I tried to get it working for hours when I first got it.

@bradleyman13 If you're buying the latest PSP then you should get the camera that is compatible with that one. If you're just gettin a slim then by all means by the one I have on display. But I should say the quality of the camera is not much better than what you would find on some camera phones, in other words if your light is not excellent then the video and pictures you take will SUCK..

Not really truth be told the quality of the pictures are really only good enuff to be viewed on the web, but strangely the video is not bad when you put it up on the t.v. using a t.v. out on the psp but I would suggest excellent light for either, video or still pictures in other words....shoot stuff in the daytime.

ok I got mine from a comicbook convention yes I'm in the US your best bet is a "Mom and Pop" video game dealer but if that doesn't work for you try this place called videogamesny I guess youtube won't let you post a url but the place is in the east village in NYC good luck

nah truth be told I got mine at a comic book convention, but there are a lot of different places to get them from. some mom and pop video game stores have them (mom and pop not a chain like game slop) you can order them online, that's about all I know of, because for some DUMB reason Sony is not selling them in the United States I have no idea why.

Thanks, but i have the latest firmware. I figured it out though. It was real picky (at least the first 10 times i plugged it it, about being pushed down all the way, and then screwed in, but its fine now, this is real cool, i love the "scetch effect". Thank for the hep though.
