well, im not saying you learn everything there is to know about the language just by watching anime. hell, i doubt i could form a proper sentence on my own. however, due to watching anime i was able to pick up certain words and what they mean and judging by how they are used in the sentence i am able to make out what they sentence means. (its kinda like, i cant remember the word myself, yet when i hear it used by someone else i remember......i know this is a bit odd.)
