  • 8:19 WTF IS THAT SHIT

  • When they tried to do KISS it doesn't work, but when they did Loudness, it's much greater. Heavy Chains forever!

    Clockwork Toy always works!

  • Comment removed

  • loudness rule. they are the best foreign band doing metal bar none

  • THIS IS ACTUALLY A HARD RIFF TO PLAY, TOOK ME SOME TIME WHEN I WAS TEENAGER TO GET IT PERFECT , AND I THINK THIS WAS A TOP 5 RECORD IN THE 80S, ESPECIALLY IF U WERE A GUITAR PLAYER, I WORE THIS AND RISING FORCE OUT, I REMEMBER THIS WAS ONE OF HIS EASIER SOLOS..STILL GOOD THOUGH, I THOUGHT THE BEGINING RIFF WAS HARDER THAN THE SOLO LOL

  • Thunder from the East!

  • Thunder in the East was their best as far as commercial success goes. So Americans didn't like loudness after the Japan bash of mid 80s. The song SDI might be the true reason. They disappeared after 3rd US release. I've heard what happened with their contracts.

  • OMG...the solo for Clockwork Toy can crush your heart !!!!!

  • this is the best Dokken song George Lynch and Jeff Pilson never wrote ! Loudness were brilliant, just f**kin' brilliant, just f**ckin' brilliant...

  • Killer riff and song!

  • In my opinion, Loudness' BEST efforts are Thunder In The East (of course!), Lightning Strikes, and Hurricane Eyes.

  • @AngelofAnguish Pretty good choices there, but my favorite is the self-titled Loudness from 1992, followed by Thunder In The East, Disillusion and The Law Of Devil's Land.

  • @TaijiSawadaFan

The loudness self titled album ROCKS!

  • @Patriceorange Hahaha, yeah, but it's pretty hard to find fans of that line-up, mate!

  • @TaijiSawadaFan Man that's my fave line up actually! Best album of theirs in my opinion too.

  • AKIRA RULES!!

  • saw them in 88 w/ tnt & Stryper at Merriweather Post

  • I absolutely love this song but this music video is just a Crap. Who made this music video for loudness? What were they thinking?

  • what a great guitar song. a beautiful mix of classic players.. george lynch and randy rhoads influence. reminds of 85 with long hair and a penchant for good metal. love it!

  • what an underated, incredible band! they have the most amazing guitarist that no one has ever heard of. This riff should be on rockband! good luck with the fills!!!

  • I know. It's a shame. I dont think they are playing anymore cause their drummer died last year. But I could be wrong

  • Yes, the drummer died last year of liver cancer, but the band is still active. They released a new album called "Everlasting" using some pre-recorded material from Higuchi and did a few shows as a tribute to him already.

  • See thats good to hear.

Im just not digging on their current style..but bands change! Ive been playing myself for 11 years.

  • Yeah, I gotta admit Loudness' material after the reunion of the original line-up didn't attract me either, but this last album, "Everlasting", is really good... Their best one since 1992's "Loudness" in my opinion.

  • wow, these guys kick ass. thats a sick riff btw. proud to announce im a Loudness fan. haha.

  • Too bad Loudness (drastically) changed the way they looked and sounded after Hurricane Eyes. in my opinion, they went from looking like "metalheads/rockers" to looking like ex-ECW stars Public Enemy!

  • man this song was my favorite when it was new, sounded great on vinyl

  • Who's the beauty 1:55?

  • thanks, thats me

  • What's "PV " stand for?

    Thanks.

  • Promotional Video

  • Oh Du, Lol... Thanx Bro!

  • BEST GUITARIST AND MALE SINGER ON THIS PLANET !!! (SEE COMMENT cshadow1972)

  • thanks for posting this, loved them back in the day, it s so stupid that bands made these vids back then and mtv only played them like one time, now we can watch them all we want thanks utube

  • bad ass!!! saw them back in '85 w/ motley crue

  • I love that "rising sun" shirt that Minoru wears! In my opinion, that "rising sun" design is so "heavy metal!"

  • I saw these cats open up for Motley Crue at Cobo Arena in Detroit 1984. One of the most impressive opening acts I've ever seen.

  • you either got this from one of my old sites or bought it off me from ebay.

  • It's so good to see these guys again. Akira was and still is one of the best.

  • Huge influence on me personally. As well as the metal/hair scene. Very underrated musicians. I think. Akira was and still is the shit. Listen to his music on his website. Bad ass. Right on for posting.

  • This record is so fuckin' Great.

  • I love this Jam! I play it ever other day to get the day going.

RIP Munetaka Higuchi. You will be remembered

  • Loudness is one of the best heavy metal bands ever, they get into your head and never let got, sort of like dream; in a dream I heard the chorus and couldn't find it anywhere, until I checked out my Japanese metal shelf.

Don't do this, don't do that

Don't look back, you might stumble

Don't say yes, don't say no

Don't let go, or your tumble down

  • Loudness and EZO, two great japanese metal bands!

  • In 1985 I was a Marine stationed in Iwakuni Japan during the Loudness era. When I heard them, they blew me away! High quality metal. Too bad they never really caught on huge in US. But they hold a special place in my heart forever. Hope you guys feel the same.

  • I was stationed in Yokosuka from '84 to '87, I saw Loudness on back-to-back nights at the Budokan in Tokyo in '86. Simply incredible shows...

  • I lived those years and here in Madrid,Spain we all listened the thunder in the esat album

Fucking great!!love to find this videos...

  • clockwork toy is one of the greatest songs in heavy metal,..perod!,..amazing music and fantastic guitar,..if i could be any guitar player in the world it would be AKIRA!,..smokin mutha!

  • AKIRA RULES!!!!

  • i listened to that solo like 10 time ina row,..fuckin tha best

  • HEAVY AS YAMATO!!!

  • ah, thunder in the east has to be my favourite album.

  • my favorite album ever as well bro

  • Hurricane Eyes is probably my second fav

  • I have to agree with you guys, "Thunder In The East" is probably my favorite album ever... But my second one would be "Loudness", from 1992.

  • god of the japan rock n roll

  • Good Band

  • oen of my fave songs on teh album i really love when it builds up load and then that short moment of silence right before the solo, its immence, and it gives me chills

  • its like its really a clockwork toy? machine in that song,..unbelievably awesome

  • its the most beautiful silence in music ever! solo haunts me,..wish people knew what waz up1

  • I bought this lp the day it hit my local record store huge fan for sure wrenzaga why no like Vinnie Moore? Pick up and check out his minds eye cd its freaking heavy!

  • I like all the videos, but whoever put them together has an awfully big problem taking the cam of Akira when he starts going fast.

  • clockwork toy rulllllllssss!!!

  • Akira's riff is great, Actually my most favorite riff in rock n roll i think,

    these guys are great :)

  • @TigertailzBezerk Yeah, haha, you mean "wok and woll"

It's kind of funny, the Engrish, but still... the band is (was*) awesome!

  • i looooooooooove this

  • Banzai!
