  • Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that not all punjabis cook that way and in fact common to cook like that. Thanks

  • thank you very much the recipe.. 'twas very helpful to me staying away form family and learning cooking... also it was very easy to cook and ummmm.. delicious too. I cant believe i cooked it... My mom was very happy.. ;-)

    thanks again

  • thank you for the easy recipe..hmm,one last question, how about chapati's best pair? can i ask one recipe to be paired with my chapati?...thanks in advance

  • Really, any subzi (or vegetable) will go great with chapati. Check out our website under the tab "Subzi (Vegetables)" for some great ideas (videos plus detailed recipes).

  • I love the ways you reduce the fat content in your recipies. I love indian food but it tends to be very calorific. I made the zucchini dish with coriander and lime, it was delicious!

  • so basically the first actual step of the recipe is to rob an indian market for the 23 ingredients?

  • can we use canned garbanzo beans instead of using the dried?

  • Absolutely! You don't have to cook them as long since the canned beans are pre-cooked.

  • Audio levels a bit uneven. Food looks great, thanks

  • I think of all the Youtube online recipes, these two ladies do the best job. Lovely and so informative.

  • It look so good. From time to time I buy indian food at a restaurant,so to ask for this i'll have to say chole?

  • It's funny that you recommend retaining the soaking water. I've always thought that changing the water frequently while soaking keeps gas problems at bay.

  • Using asofoetida (hing) helps with the gas problem. The soaked water really adds to the flavor of this dish. However, if you still experience this problem, you can definitley use fresh water.

  • I guess these are American version of all dishes :(

  • BTW. You guys explain verrry well.

  • I'm gonna use it tonight with some brown rice. Thanks a whole lot.

  • Lucky

  • that looks great!
