To those who do not know the Superman Mythology, listen closely...LANA CANNOT DIE..EVER!!!!!! The only people that can be killed off w/o ruining the mythology is Lionel and Chloe, even if Lana leaves the show they can still have plenty of stories. Besides according to the mythology, Clark dates someone else after Lana and before Lois, she goes by the name of Lori Lemaris. But remember, LANA CAN'T DIE !!! She's just as important to the mythology as Lois, Jimmy, Lex, and Martha are.
lana is not yet dead! but they'll kill off lana lang this season, i think bec. the CW network site said that it will be the last season for kristin & michael r. tom welling signed contract until season 8 which will be the last season for smallville.
How come Lana isn't in the trailer? Maybe because they all want us to think she's dead eh?... Noooo.. Im happy smallville is actually going somewhere but I miss seeing clana scenes!
I think it was ok. Notice how much faster it is from the teaser? Sure, it's not as grand as Clark's when he was Kal-El. But, that's the point. It would make her flight much too important. And speed also adds to the mystery of her character.

Just because it's her last season doesn't mean she has to die. Will Lex die? No. Besides, Lana is one of the people who aren't allowed to die.
