Um yes because obviously when youre playing, Yuri needs to get close to the enemy to take control of them, and when youre close they will probably try to shoot you. So he is in the same situation just with a dinosaur instead of a tank. Besides he had plenty of time to mind control that dinosaur because it didnt rip his head off the second it saw him.. Its not like a GI is going to stand and look at you for 5 sec without opening fire.
