Second once it reached the black hole the signals would cease transmitting directly back to us due to the massive amount of gravity. Once inside the horizon, the radio signals, light, and space itself would be dragged downward towards the singularity. Thus making it impossible to see.

The gravity at your feet is higher than the gravity at your head. This fact is also true on the earth but our size compared to the size of the earth is just too small to make a big enough difference.

Now the smaller the black hole is, the bigger the difference between the gravity at your feet and the gravity at your head will become, thus stretching and killing you faster.
