  • I got this 2 days after it released

  • @wiithepeople2 To be fair, i did not get the Dreamcast untill Sega anounced Crazy taxi for it :-D, but i got the release games as well after picking one up.

  • @musicmaniac1965 I still have this and I regularly play MvC2 with it. That and Sega Rally, both Sonic Adventure games, Yakuza, the like.

  • @wiithepeople2 I still have it too, as there's still no better version of Crazy Taxi. The Xbox360 version has changed locations, the sound is terrible, the costumers and cab drivers sounds different, the sound is out of balance, in short, the Dreamcast version still kicks *ss LOL. I recently got me a spare Dreamcast in case my current one would fail.

  • So much better than the PS3

  • @Rygith LOL, well, this was for me the first console that could play online games. But there weren't that many, and internet connections themselves where slow too. But indeed, the Dreamcast is really good (that's what i think anyway :-D) and had some classic games that are still fun today.

Thanks for visiting. Have a nice day. Kind regards, musicmaniac1965.

  • this video pretty much says''fuck with the dreamcast, and it will kick ur ass''

  • @MrGabrielicious It should have kicked all the gamers that did not beleave in it ;-) hahahaha. But now that it's a "oldschool console", suddenly there's more interest in it than it had when it was still avaiable :-)

  • @musicmaniac1965 u kno the beep when the vmu doesnt have a battery??that says ''if u dont like me fuck off

  • Fuck I remember this my favorite game was powerstone and powerstone 2

  • @richard21solava They should bring back the Powerstone game series to Xboxlive and PSN ! or maybe a completely new one. Those where indeed really good Dreamcast games!

  • I remember seeing this ad the day before the console released, picked it up the next morning the minute the store opened. I miss the old Sega days.

  • @Djaru i'm glad i'm not the only one. i wish sega would reconsider making consoles again. i know i can still play sega games, but somehow it's not the same playing them on my ps3 or xbox360...

  • This ad is totally stupid! I mean, it's nice to look at, but no wonder the Dreamcast was dead so soon! If Sega'd pulled off some ingame scenes from Sonic Adventure or Virtua Fighter 3tb that would've been great, however this was just disappointing to me...

  • i agree. this add did the dreamcast no favours, but it's the only one i ever saw. to bad sega did not had the advertising power they used to have.

also the one of the sega saturn where verry short parts of daytona usa where shown, was not that good. but at least better than this one.

  • this video got the guy who directed it a job in hollywood. because of this video he's directed films such as the omen and max payne

  • i never knew that :-) well, the commercial looked cool, but i don't see how it could have boosted interest in the dreamcast. to bad it did not helped et all, as the dreamcast is long forgotten exept by its fans.

  • @Heekmann Hi! Actually this is the 'short' version of the commercial. There was a longer version that I think was shown on Monday Night Football shortly after the release of the system. Quite a few games were featured in that version. Still, I understand what you mean. Even so, this is nowhere near as bad as the 'Head for Saturn' print ads for Sega Saturn... Ugh.

  • Well I've actually got quite a few games that won't operate with the VGA cable. But then again my collection is a little too big.

  • i've got a VGA adaptor wich also has a tulip to scart cable, so i can swap channel on my tv without needing to use the orginal cable. i bought it in a game shop in the center of den haag (the hague)

  • It is a shame not all games are VGA adapter compatible. I would leave the DC ooked up to my analog VGA cable indefinitely if it did.

  • to be honest, my dreamcast IS hooked onto the VGA box forever. so far i havent seen a game i like playing that does not work. but i know there are some games not working on VGA.

  • still a exelent console to game on. with the VGA adaptor you can even get superb image quallity on your plasma or LCD tv ! there are a lot of games avaiable, and enough are of a high quallity. i still play this console. sega should have never give up on the dreamcast.
