Once you find a way to stop people who should not be parents to stop having unprotected sex then abortions will drop. The rights of the child should include the quality of that life and not simply the right to exist. Pro-life ofter really means pro-child abuse.
Quote from Ferudi: "We can accept that the embryo is a living thing...It is clearly human...But the point is not when does human life begin, but when does human life begin to matter?"
What if I said human life begins to matter only when it is a white male, and used it to justify genocide and sexism?
ALL human life matters, or else none matters, except as defined by those with power against those without a voice.
I cannot help but be struck by the fact that Professor John Wyatt asks (needs in fact) that the abortion debate be defined in terms that support his positions. He seems unable (unlike Anne Furedi) to argue his position based on the actual facts at hand. Non sequiters and strawmen are not persuasive arguments to me..
btw, theres WAY too many people in the world. Something needs to be done to stop mans population growing and consuming - he's a virus with shoes.
A good war always helps because people just can't stop fu.......
you get the idea.
