I had a problem, with my hP-22 and they fixed it free of charge and made it look like a brand new pistol. Phoenix Arms is Aces in my book for their service.
hey man my gun cracked i only put 1200 rounds through it. the crack is right above the safety. The thing is i live five minutes of where the gun is so i will hopefully get a fast response.
Zipharius : This model firearm has a safety feature located on the left side where the "thumb finger" would be closest to that has a black dot for "Safe" and a red dot for "Fire" if the firearm is "Dry fired" in this fashion then the "Fireing pin" or commonly referred to as "Hammer" should still slam.Only if you have a "Mod" free firearm then the Trigger may be unable to be pulled.
@bigredshithead...it's like I don't have a clip 4 it yet so when I pull the slide back as if I was ready 2 shoot, then I pull the trigger nothin happens
@zipharius You have to have a clip in it for it to fire, you have to have the safety on, to remove the clip. I'm surprised you can even pull the slide back, it's not supposed to. I would order a clip, they should be 15 or 20 dollars.
@zipharius There is a flat bar that runs from the trigger to the cocking mechanism, when the bar gets sloppy, it will not stay on the sear and will not set the trigger as a result. Had the very same problem, sent it back to Phoenix Arms and they fixed the problem and made the pistol look brand new. They are tops on service.
Thanks, It's supposed to be there today. They said they were backed up and it might be awhile. But I'm thinking they wouldn't be able to fix it, hopefully they can. Hopefully they will do something since I had to pay 51 dollars to ship a hundred dollar gun. It's supposed to have a lifetime warranty so we'll see. In the catalog the frame is the only thing you can't order.
@bigredshithead i had the same problem with my HP22, but the company doesn't carry a warranty for my country, i desperate to have it fixed, but some gunsmith here said the lower receiver is to thin and made of zinc, so it can not be welded, now i can only fire my hp with a silencer attached, any advice would be welcome
@Gobyador Unfortunately the frame is the only part you can't purchase, there are websites that sell parts. My old one was worn down quite a bit, I shot it thousands of times. What kind of ammo do you shoot out of yours? How much did your pistol cost you? I paid a hundred U.S. dollars ten years ago, they cost about one hundred and thirty now. The new ones are made alot better I think, however the silencer you have is awesome. I should have a new video very soon of me shooting the new one.
@bigredshithead its a bit more expensive here, im at the Philippines, had my HP since 1996, i used CCI ammo on them till i saw the same broken part of the receiver same as yours, mine cost around in dollars about 250, taxes and importation fees, i love my phoenix, i cant send my HP back to the manufacturer being that it would be illegal here, gun laws, i also heard that they are now being made of alloy or steel, which makes the new HP22/25 more durable, would love to hear about your new HP
@bigredshithead oh and thank you, im glad you liked my silencer, made it myself copying a few from silencers designed for air rifles and m4 carbine, the silencer is the only thing left holding down the barrel when i shoot my HP
Did they fix your pistol?
