  • I'm glad to see you practice "catch and release".

  • Any time I feel homesick, I watch this to remind me exactly why I moved to California.

  • Say WHOOOAAAAAAAA Lookit dat... yeehawwww , I aint never seen pieces of hay rollin over the ground before. Whooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

  • @ub40adak Obviously not seeing as that isn't hay.

  • This makes me homesick

  • FULL EPISODES: TV[.]USNETXXX[.]COM

  • My first day of school in 1987, a tumble weed smashed me into the front door of Preston Smith Elementary.

  • i love lubbock even tho i dont live their its the real texas feeling not gay ass ghetto houston

  • lol... only in texas!! the only place where u can have all 4 seasons in one day.. lol

  • hahaha this looks fun

  • This is a cool vid. I use to live in Lubbock too. I didn't think you still had these big dust storms. I'll never forget them. I live in Casper, Wy.. We get the wind storms and tumble weeds too, but the dust just doesn't kick up here, like it does in Lubbock. (No cotton fields here.) Thanks for sharing. Brings back the memories of living in West Texas.

  • that was really funny 5/5

  • my favorite is when the sky turns red with all the dust, then it starts raining and it rains mud!

    lubbock ftw

  • LOL Yeah, you haven't lived 'till you've experienced raining mud! Lubbock weather's awsome!!

  • A god friend of mine lives in Lubbock. Hopefully this weather is not normal over there in Texas.

Beaner if you ever will read this a big kiss for you.

    Your friend Jorgen from Germany

  • i remember that we were laying concrete. in stead of tumble weeds. there were pieces of sheet medal comming at us. my dad said fuck the concrete lets go.

  • Wow. Must be strange to live in a place where you can't open your windows.

  • Gaw i hate those days!

  • I lived in Lubbock as a kid growing up from '64 to '72, and the dust storms every late winter and spring were out of this world cool. The May 11, 1970 tornado was really something. For some strange reason, I loved the bleakness of this place, even as a kid. It instills a certain sort of attitude, if you know what I mean. Only been back there once since moving away. I miss it.

  • @freeflippo Howdy former Texas neighbor.

Remember the May 11, 1970 tornados like it was yesterday.

Mom worked at the Great Life building that was slightly twisted; our church was hit; & one of them came down on 19th (girls dorm at Tech) & we lived on 22nd, between Acorn & Boston. That was one scary night, for sure.

Home is where the heart is & although parents 'transplanted' us to TN in 1972 -- we're still Texans. lol

  • this was one of my favorit stormes last year me and my friends piced up the weeds and fought with them

  • This actually makes me miss Lubbock, and yes, the audio is hilarious! good job man!

  • Lubbock FTW!

  • Welcome to a normal day in west Texas!

I remember a couple years back when we made it on CNN with one of our dustier days and the car pileups that ensued!

  • OMG this is soooooo funny!! Those tumbleweeds are HUGE, holy crap!

  • Audio is hillarious

  • looks pretty cool to me

  • ohhh the spring, summer, fall, and winter in Lubbock. had to explain tumble weeds to the guys here in dwf area. lol

  • People need to get out more. I live in DFW, but I know about those crazy tumbleweeds. Dust storms too. My car still gets that musty, damp earth smell when it rains, because I went through a dust storm on the way to Amarillo.

  • those where some big ass tumbleweeds! lol

  • ahh, the joys of Lubbock, Tx

  • i dont know if im just strange or just cos i dont see them in uk where im from but tumble weeds i find very funny they crack me up lol

  • wow.... I forget what that was like.... I havent been home since 03. Does it still get that bad in Lubbock, i miss the pink skies!

  • Aw good ol lubbock...can't wait till I go to college far far away lol.

  • hey mann i live in lubbock too comment my vids plz

  • ...Home Sweet Home. :-P

  • Man this is funny! My first ever visit to Lubbock, a friend and I were stopped at a red light at a deserted intersection. Not a car to be seen, but seconds later, a 'herd' of tumbleweeds raced along the cross street from left to right.

  • Lord, i remember that day. I had to drive to Lubbock from Levelland for work. Dodging tumbleweeds at 70mph is always fun! :)

  • Ah, memories, I sure miss Lubbock.

  • hahahaha!! This is awesome! We should make a sport out of this

  • Maybe someone could make a movie called Attack Of the Killer tumble Weeds.

  • Great Comment...maybe next time I can have them roll over me!

  • Yea, they rolled away down da road.

  • no wonder the chippendale dancers left soo fast
