I think it was in the manga that she becomes one of Alucard's familiars, a soul bound to his power. So she's still sort of alive.

Actually according to the manga, her, along with most of the millenium are werewolves. (Or else they wouldn't have had to make artificial vampires.)

its not her and most of the millenium, i know its kind of hard to understand but the major created a group called werewolves, its basically all of his generals (rip van, schro, cap, the doc, zorin blitz), but the only true werewolf is the captain, so everyone else apart from the captain, the doctor, and the major are arteficial vampires. i know its hard to understand sometimes, maybe the author should have made it clearer (like the sir integra hellsing muck up)

Rip and everyone else, they're all artificial vamps. The Captain is the only actual werewolf in Hellsing.
