I beg to differ Friend or Foe,Dean is not singing Falsetto,He is just useing more head voice and nasal tone for the high notes, Falsetto comes more from the throat ! I was Miss Tennessee in 1993 at 23. I need Deen's publisist or the Journey Main Web Site. Why? The story Deen Castronovo tells of recovery is out of the park. It is still amazing every time I see his face. On my shifts, if I'm in the ER or surgery, Deen is being heard, believe that. My hero and love of my life, what inspiration.

I just bought the new revelation album. JOURNTEY IS BACK!!!! And while the new singer is really great, Deen may have stolen the show with this performance!!! What an amazing vocal. One of Journey's top songs ever in my humble opinion. Way to go Deen!

I hope everyone buys the new album, which for those of you who don't know is one disc of new songs, one of older journey remakes AND this hour long concert video. A great deal for $12.00.

mogogirl67...you nailed it...right on. Deen's performance here may be one of the best Journey songs of all time, and I have seen Perry & Augeri in concert - both of whom are GREAT. I mention this as a compliment to Deen...Steve Perry will always be remembered as the greatest singer Journey will ever have. Augeri was very talented and Pineda sounds great on the new CD. Now that I have given everyone their props...Deen stole the show...this is my favorite version of Mother Father. Great job Deen!
