Series 2 is being broadcast in the UK at the moment. [or at least Wales, Scotland, England and probably N. Ireland. Dunno about the Republic of Ireland though]

But Morgan and Arthus rexist in the legend. There are even versions where you realize she was really the women he truly loved.

So no, it doesn't go against the legend actually.

(But I agree for the other ones, though Merlin and Gwen have a nice dynamic in this version)

I think people forget that Morgana is Arthur's half sister (they both have the same mother in the Arthurian legend).....so I tend to shrink away from this pairing.

But from what we've seen so far in this version of the legend, they aren't brother and sister (and I sincerely hope we don't get some twist where they are, lol). IIRC, there are several versions of the legend where they aren't related either.

So... I'll just happily 'ship them for now. :D

In the Arthurian legend they are related. If they were not the whole Mordred thing wouldn't work Of course they are attracted to each other I mean they do end up having a child together. The whole tragedy of Camelot comes from Arthur sleeping with his sister who gives birth to Mordred who kills Arthur in the end (of course he does not know they are related).

Late reply, sorry, but I don't understand this point. What does the inclusion of Uther have anything to do with whether A/Mo are related or not? There are already significant changes relating to Uther-- Arthur isn't his illegitimate son, for one-- that it seems his inclusion doesn't point to any one version.

I think the possibility of their being related is out in this version of the legend. I won't dismiss the idea that they might have a kid, name him Mordred and he goes kills Arthur, though.

Alas Mordred isn't their son in this version (here i was hoping for smut tsss :P), he was the young druid Morgana wanted absolutely help. And at the end Arthur helped protecting him as well; So yeah they create a bound with them but they will not have any son in this version since Mordred is already alive :/

Okay... I find that just because the legend states something doesn't mean it to be necessarily true. Things change after time, and different people tell different interpretations of the story. I, myself, ship Merlin/Morgana, which is (According to lengend) complete and utter bull. Ah well, I suppose I can dream... ;)
