@44supernova The halo games got progressively worse except for halo 2 maybe. Plus people loved halo 1 for what it was. You dont need to add anything to a classic, it just takes away from its originality and doesn't make you feel like your playing the original. I think they screwed up with this.

It IS Halo: Reach. As I've heard, Anniversary will come with a disc with some maps from the older Halo, or new maps, didn't really got what it was but.. It's not Anniverary multiplayer, it's just extra maps and you will be playin it on Halo: Reach! And I thought that is really WAS Anniversary :( Kinda disappointed but, in another way it's good cus then we don't will totally forget Reach. Said to myself, when I get Anniversary, I will not play Reach for a loong time, don't have to worry anymore:D

The remake game comes with maps to port over to reach. THIS IS REACH! It's not the HD remake just a cool new map you get with the remake. Maybe you get to play it in split screen multilplayer in the remake.

This is the multiplayer side of it, you will get firefight with all the reach maps and more and then normall multiplayer with all the CE maps and some bonus's, the multiplayer is scripted in reach, this was not the origional plan, it was ment to be like campaign - switch from game to game style with the CE mechanics but to implement that into multiplayer would take forever so therefore they stuck with the reach code for the multiplayer. - happy? give 343 credit for continuing Halo

the campaign uses the classic CE engine with enhanced graphics. So the physics and gameplay on campaign will be the same as combat evolved but like i mentioned above, with better graphics. The online, while it still looks like reach it will let Halo:CE

fans get their hands on some really sweet classic maps.

Halo Anniversary is basically Halo 3: ODST. The campaign and (I think) firefight are new, while the multiplayer is Halo Reach with all the map packs. They didn't want to seperate the Halo community.
