I'm belgian and the guy who filmed this and did the interview was belgian, looking back right now that guy was one of the damn best singers ever, he was original and he was 100% real, his songs were incredible and I would die to see them live.

I'm from far away from ireland, and I only now found out about Shane. But, you know I found out one thing long ago: no matter in what domain a genious is born, music, physics, or whatever, good comes with equal amount of opposite (don't really want to use the word "bad"). No one is perfect. Neither is he. Let's just love him for his music. I honestly have no idea about who he is (apart from info on google and wiki), I just found myself listening to his songs over and over again.
When I read the comments I realize that I hate both the haters and the lovers. Shane has done some of the best song around, but he is a man who loves the drink like many others. Don't judge him by this video. Check out Gabrielle, a pair of brown eyes, fairytale of New York, London Girl or Sally MacLennane and say you don't like him after that. Shane could be a heavy drinker but he is happy like that, and still funny.... I do 2 once in a while and enjoy as well.... the problem is da next day.....but there is a solution....keep drinking and won't have hangover!! hehehe....

I'm belgian and the guy who filmed this and did the interview was belgian, looking back right now that guy was one of the damn best singers ever, he was original and he was 100% real, his songs were incredible and I would die to see them live.

I'm from far away from ireland, and I only now found out about Shane. But, you know I found out one thing long ago: no matter in what domain a genious is born, music, physics, or whatever, good comes with equal amount of opposite (don't really want to use the word "bad"). No one is perfect. Neither is he. Let's just love him for his music. I honestly have no idea about who he is (apart from info on google and wiki), I just found myself listening to his songs over and over again.

When I read the comments I realize that I hate both the haters and the lovers. Shane has done some of the best song around, but he is a man who loves the drink like many others. Don't judge him by this video. Check out Gabrielle, a pair of brown eyes, fairytale of New York, London Girl or Sally MacLennane and say you don't like him after that. I just hope he is going to sober up a little before he dies with a bottle in his hand. He still has talent and let's hope we'll see some more of it.
