Yes, it's really a 4L65E. They handle the 9's easily when built right. I have well over 50 9 second passes with no issues whatsoever. Check out RPM Transmissions. They build the best. They also built the 4L80e for the guy in the video you posted above.
Thats the thing. This is not a drag car. It's a daily driver street car that only gets occasional trips to the track. This car doesn't even have a cage in it. It's a TRUE street car!
