@Bear5Clan Well there is a program that comes with theHarmony One remote and almost every company that makes electronic are in Logitechs catalog. So I just looked up the company's name, and matched the product. Then the program downloads the info of the lights controls to my Harmony One remote.
I see it says you added the lights to the back of the speaker yourself, but how did you get them to ambilight with the image, or were they just rotating colors and it seemed like they were in sync with the tv?
It's a HTIB I got it about 3 years ago, at this time I can't even remember the name of the unit. I'm looking to upgrade the receiver soon. Since I've had it, the unit has been a great performer. I did alot of research before getting it, and most people told me that Onkyo offers one of the best values of HTIB's out of anyone, because the way their product is setup allows for future upgrades of components as time goes by.
Yes I've been researching too before I buy I am about to pull the trigger on the one I mentioned just trying to get free ship. Other than Audiophiles crapping on any HTIB's I haven't heard anything bad about the unit I am interested in except the default speaker wire are cheap but I can always buy better. So if your unit is 3 years old does the receiver process sound from hdmi or even have hdmi? BTW I love the setup.
That's what I figured with a setup a set 3 years old. The one I'm looking at process both sound and audio via hdmi. I may be getting a good deal even though buy a receiver and speakers separately will get me a better product it would cost more and I kind of want it now.
how do you program the lights to work with the remote?

Peace. What kind of speakers are those (with the lights in back of them)?
YAHSPECIES 2 years ago
They are Onkyo speakers, they don't come with the lights. I put those on the back of the speakers myself
