Yes I know. I played it next to a D-18 and the difference was huge. Not that one was better or worse, but definitely a different sound between the rosewood and mahogany. Now, I might have a difficult time between a D-28 and a D-35. Some people can do it, but not so much me.
it's so crazy b/c if i had my eyes close, i could still tell your playing a d-28, can't beat that!!!
