  • LOVE,LOVE,LOVE Robert & Jimmy they are gorgeous forever and always.

  • Why can't they go out on tour?!

  • @nholt Because there isn't a Led Zeppelin without one particular person-John Bonham! I'm so glad Robert Plant doesn't want to do it. It would be an insult to John Bonham. If they decided to go out and tour as Jones, Page, & Plant doing the music of Led Zeppelin w/Jason Bonham, that would be fine with me. I have Led Zeppelin everyday in my life with all the bootlegs I have. The shows I own "ARE" Led Zeppelin, and that's something that wouldn't be achieved with Jason!

  • nice spot to be, too bad the camera operator was not experienced. moves around too much, too jumpy, not focused on people, should have done one panoramic shot, standing very still. it's easy once you've done it a few times. practice next time before the show.

  • great video

  • Attention Drummers/musicians!!! Get the book "realistic rock" by Carmine Appice!! If you like 60's-70's rock drumming it's the Bible. It turned my hopeless brother into a real rock guy. He would work on it every day and half way through the book and after learning the first Zeppelin record beat for beat he would go back to the jams and sound exactly like Simon Kirk of Free and Bad Company...with bonham fills to boot. It could save rock drumming im serious. Amazon.com

  • Amazing. Jonsey laid down a solid rock hard bass line as always, thats why he's my favorite bass player.

  • robert plant looks like a tiger now, a badass tiger who in his 60s looks better than alot of 30 year old men

  • 2:40 shit gets real ;)

  • Plant could be a mute and still sound better than these twats we have today! I like Robert's voice any way he gives it. Who cares about how he sounded in 75 or whatever!

  • for anyone that even tries to say anything negative about this performance you have to realize that the band are in their 60's!

how many other 60 year olds do you know that are even 1/1000th as cool?

zeppelin were and are incredible musicians that left an INDELIBLE* mark in history.

    *Definition of INDELIBLE

a: that cannot be removed, washed away, or erased

b: making marks that cannot ever be removed

  • You're right. When I just started watching it, it sounded like an old rusty sound like. But after a while you can tell there's a master-hand behind it all. I would've liked to see them live . . . They've always been the great grand-daddies of heavy rock

  • Seriously,GranDrJ, they are going to finally release this on blu-ray/dvd this summer?? I certainly hope so and you aren't teasing us??

  • Ten 50 Cent fans stumble on to the wrong video.

  • Hows come the two video's for this song do not finish the entire bow solo?? This is dissapointing. I would love to see the rest of that solo or if it leads into another song or whatever!

  • jimmy page is unbelievable. Freakish!

  • omfg....this is AMAZINGGGGGG>>>!!!!!! Holy crap

  • holy shit....Plant sounds just as amazing as he did when he first started...

  • Yeah... I see why they hung it up after Bonzo died. I always actually expected more from jason. One would think that he would have adapted to his father's technique through the years. I would never have thought he is Bonham's son from just his playing thats for sure.

  • @AldridgeHalenFreak ...your right...i saw Jason 2 weeks ago...Great show..hes a good drummer...but not John...John was an innovator as was the entire band...

  • Jimmy Page is by far the most innovative and truly awesome guitarist that has ever picked up a piece of wood with highly wound bits of wire . love , passion and beauty . if you love Page check out Nick Drake . Two masters of beautiful guitar

  • @happysillysadmad I understand that statement quite a bit. Page is remarkableas a improvisor and great over all player. And he stole a few things too as all of them did. One guy that I really like for over all improvisional and just kicking butt big time was Ritchie Blackmore!! Blackmore cooks! Even with Rainbow watching him live was probably the best over all live player I ever saw. But I know what you mean about Page!! Scary!

  • Bloody brilliant. Awesome video and sound quality. Thanks for uploading!

  • it, i mean the guitar, sounds different than in 70s. i would say in 70s it sounded better. anyway hats off to Jimmy;)

  • As a Zeppelin fan, it sends shivers to hear the crowd going nuts as Jimmy Page takes the bow... we've seen that in old footage (well, most of us), or Song Remains The Same, also the crowd back then was really quiet. Now, this epic moment in Zep history gained a boost of energy from the audience! Awesome!

  • How I wish they would do one more tour!! We probably won't see chemistry like this again in our lifetime.

  • the DVD/Blu-Ray is on track to be released this summer as reported by the ever dependable Steve A. Jones on the official Led Zeppelin website forums.

  • @GranDrJ thatd be fucking awesome!

  • Wow!! chilling bow

  • this have be released in DVD... We the Fans, deserve it

  • Did they escape the senior citizens home !!!!!!!!

  • @lifeson241 i dont think so gods never grow old just more wiser i think haha

60+ and they fuckin destroy almost every band live

  • @lifeson241 if you look above tour post you will see almost every band, but rush is included!!!!!

  • is paige using a digetech whammy?!?!

  • @NikoBellicinLiberty It sounds like a wah man ... might be a Real Mc Coy Custom ... they are very high end wahs ... i own the wheels of fire and its red just as the whammy , might be also the rmc5 wizard wah !

  • This song was always great, but it really benefits from being played in a lower key; sounds positively evil.

  • who is on drums in this? Jason?

  • @HiOctane62 It's john bonham's son I think, I seem to remember watching a BBC documentary and hearing that he trained so well that you wouldnt be able to tell it wasn't his father. Rest In Peace Bonham.

  • @wildvenisson I thought so but wanted to make sure.

  • 1.11 - 115 I really miss Bonzo :(

  • That Main Riff sounds so scary.

    Omg i love that one.

  • the riff sounds so badass tuned down!

  • jimmy's guitars sounds so vicious on this song...like it is springing from the tortured soul of aleister crowley himself. need to see this again live.

  • Saw Zeppelin 12 times from 1969 to 1977 and am so glad I did. The alt rock speed metal junk of today could learn a lot from these guys!

  • I got HD video, far better than any I've seen, of this show. If I get enough requests I'll upload the songs people request from it...

  • Wauw this is one of the best recordings i can find!

I ike that its filmd from the other side and you can see the band members perfectly!

    Nice phootage dude!

  • 0:20 Jimmy's conjuring the spirits.

  • I swear to God this sounds like early Black Sabbath.

  • @rodentcafeteria early black sabbath sounds like this

  • well this is way better then the cream reunion.

  • Wish the crowd would fucking shut up. Hope when the DVD comes out all the crowd noise DURING the songs will be lost.

  • @ritchiepeyton I think it's good to have a little crowd noise during the song so you feel like you're really there. Otherwise it just sounds like a live studio recording with crowd noises dubbed in at the beginning and end. I think the crowd's excitement adds to the vibe of the recording.

  • This sound fuckin' evil one step down...

  • Quem é bom é bom

  • Wow, you'd think the best video on youtube would start at the beginning of the song...

  • @luckyjinxer well, maybe you should be thankfull this awesome and incredable luck person recorded this in such amazing clarity for our enjoyment.

  • @ILuv2BU Just calling out bullshit as i see it.

  • r they gonna make a dvd

  • after all the time they wernt togeather then this zeppelin owes everyone one good world tour

  • Wow... I just cannot believe how mean that guitar sounds. Man, to have been there...

  • gods!!!

    PERU

  • 10 People accidentally clicked dislike

  • @ClassicRockerSr101 Durn fool igiots!

  • I was there. About seven rows back, just right of stage, bang in front of Jimmy. :)

  • Gods brain childre-UNIVERSE,HEVEAN,ANGELS,HUMANS,SEX,MUSIC, AND LED ZEPPELIN

  • They sound so awesome.

I want that fucking DVD !!!

Plant sounds almost too good to be true !

    Magnificent !

  • one word, GODS

  • The band is just PERFECT!! But... why still no DVD? Is it the pride thing or what? The concert was great (as I heard and see...), Plant dont want to play again, so no one has a chance to see them ever again live, so why can't they just release one, stupid, lousy DVD? Why wait so long? This is money for them, benefit for rest of the world and right now, everybody is just pissed the fuck off because of no possibility to see them now. 20 000 people is not enough. What with the rest of the world?

  • Plant is really pissing me off I have to admit. He better give in just one more time and come to Boston!

  • I don't why they can't make just one last album, just one! Of course it wouldn't be the same without Bonham but his son is the perfect replacement, they already played together, they gotta come back and save everyone from the crap they call music now!!!

  • hope they get toghter before it is to late.they are not getting any younger

  • I want a Led Zeppelin reunion so badly. Hopefully, we get one.

  • Love the crowd starting to go cheer as soon as JP picks up the bow.

  • Its amazingly lucky that the greatest guitarist of all time happened to meet one of the best vocalists of all time and that they formed a band with amazing songs. what if plant and paige never meet? :'(

  • i would give my right arm

to play guitar like jimmy page

  • @angus1878 Then you could only play taqpping :D Never heard jimmy ever used it

  • how would u play with one arm then? xD

  • Well......He's not hitting the same notes... not even close, actually, but the way they have changed many of the tunes to accomodate his age and it's subsequent vocal range are stil far better than 90% of the bands that came along after them !

  • what do you know they still got it

  • When i see seniors such as Plant and Jagger for example, I feel optimistic.

  • I am amazed at Robrt Plants Vocals at his age!

    Awesome Musicians !!!!

  • i think that there old and about to die and i want to see there concert so bad

  • @srhess09 haah, Page is 64, Plant is 61..

  • if you think 65 is knocking on death's door , you must be living in the 1750's

  • Great band but if there's no tour, I don't blame them. What can they do if one won't go? At least release the DVD.

  • I'm very impressed with their ability to improvise around Plant's aging vocal chords, I didn't think they could sound this good, to be honest. Right on!!! ZEPPELINFAN LIVES AGAIN!!!

  • they tuned down a half - step for the show to e flat

  • dude, that's normal with older bands in the heavy genre, just listen to the reunion album from black sabbath, they did the same for ozzy.

and zeppelin is as great as ever here, page#s in full hero mode, not like some of those sloppier gigs in the late 70s.

  • pretty good. plant still seems to have his voice. however page isn't as accurate as he used to be. nice video tho. i agree best on youtube

  • plant cant sing high cause he didnt take care of his voice so i think jimmy had to tune a half step lower, but their both still gods

  • it sounded had a scary tone to it

  • Led Zeppelin Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the only reason roberts voice is low is because he didnt listen to a doctor in 72' when he had a cold and it was damaging his vocal chords but he just kept going.. awhll well im still dinging it its fuckiin zeppelin still who gives a danm

  • @brandontylerkaiser no its low coz hes fucken old.

  • dude i have a zeppelin book and it states that story thats why in 75 and 1980 he wasnt to his standard and some shows of 77

  • well.. fuckn old and low... to be honest...

  • What did the cold do to the vocal chords?

  • page's bow solo still sends the shivers

  • Alison Krauss is becoming the Yoko Ono of Led Zeppelin..

  • I thought I was the only one who thought of that. But it seems I am not.

  • plants still got it......but alice krauss or w/e her name is ruined him

  • when is this gonna be out on dvd.!!!!!!

  • soon i hope!!!

  • @robbie3051 I think I heard the solo section and bonham fucks it up coming out of it. Being like the central piece of the whole DVD, there's no way Page would let that out. My reckoning...

  • @robbie3051 You wont see any O2 official release of Zeppelin at least. If we see something form this it will be a compilation of all the sets from that night. Remember, it was a tribute to Ahmet, not just a Led Zeppelin concert so it will never be released as just a lEd Zeppelin release and it wont include all of their set. I can tell you that much for a fact.

  • Plant's voice sounds AWESOME. It's just lower, and deeper. But more complex musically.

  • Plant was never a schooled singer. His "sound" was a forced one, like all those old high notes on the first 5 albums. Had Plant sang "perfect" technically, he'd still be able to sing all those high notes...but it wouldn't sound like Plant. Part of his sound is that forced sound. Love it.

Voices don't even "prime" until about 50. It's a well-known fact among classical singers.

  • great video , robert sounds great, pagey sounds wicked, jpj the master, lil bonham excellent..looks like a great show

  • i think it's one of the best versions there is, and plants voice still has that power it's just a bit lower.

i would easilly give away all of my possesions for a ticket if they would just do a tour!

  • Man, these old guys are so friggin cool still, too bad Robert wont do more than this. The Best Rock band that ever was and probably ever will be.

  • @drakehemlock He would if it were just for the music, but he hates the hype and comparisons to the past. Makes him sick. Page should find a young unkown singer who really rocks and has a lot of soul and form a new project with JPJ and Jason.

  • I think it sounds deeper and more sinister slow

  • everyone had to tune down that night because robert plant can't sing as loud anymore.

  • I know, you can hear the weakness in his voice compared to earlier but what can you expect with age. They still rock

  • those are stupid words. listen to tom jones

I can't get all this thing with loosing range in zep repertoire - maybe he had cold or something?

  • man, people react differently to aging, some like tom jones don't change, but others sometimes lose it. Plant as a vocalist is one of the best ever, he could hit unbelievable notes and had an awesome range...and with all do respect to tom jones, even in his golden days, he didn't had plant's range :)

  • that's fine, but I don't look at him from a range perspective. I think he has a distinctive voice, bluesy way of singing and giving out words. of course we began to recognize it in zep material, and he was there because he was a perfect match to page's style. I can't remember such interaction (basically it was repeating the same phrases) in other bands. so it is the matter of origin. we associate zep songs with plant's voice inevitably.

  • agreed :)

nice to have a discussion with someone who isn't 13 and listens to the Jones bros...

  • Comment removed

  • The point of the song is confusion and dreariness. I like the slowness. <:

  • yes

  • Robert must be tall... how far is the sky from here...

  • Jimmy Page using a bow is like a PB&J; both things are cool by themselves, but put them together and its FREIKIN' AWESOME!

  • how tall is plant ?

  • 6' 1"

  • check jimmys pedal board out !! Bet he never had one of those back in 1970!

  • Jones' new band is great from what I have heard of it .

  • Awesome! This band will sound good til the end of time...

  • damn it..why I wans't there.. ;(;(;(

  • im just glad plant doesnt wear those chicks shirts and ball crunchers...LOL

  • I would rip off my own balls to see Led Zep live!

  • @TheAlmightyDom NOW that could hurt!!

  • @TheAlmightyDom I saw Zep back in the 1970's -- Couldn't hear for a day afterwards - and didn't care.

  • @TheAlmightyDom to much maybe one ball

  • @TheAlmightyDom At the current count, I'd like to see you and the other 48 people do that if they did tour.

  • @TheAlmightyDom ha, classic.

  • @TheAlmightyDom me too

  • @TheAlmightyDom Now thats what I call dedication XD

  • @TheAlmightyDom Ouch! but hmmmm...that would be quite the choice to have to make. Let's see self neuter or LZ live front row...ok with a backstage pass balls are gone.

  • Wow, Plant can still hit the notes, that's awsome!

  • @VegasRage Never doubt a God.

  • these guys in their 60's (except for Jason)can still rock harder than band these days who are in their 30's or 20's

  • OMG....the guitar sounds sooo sick and yet so awesome...i just cant imagine myself being over 60 years old and playing like this...

  • Hey Oknarbtal - Can you imagine yourself "playing like this" TODAY at whatever age you are?

  • y didnt they ply the 29 min one

  • Page certainly has not mellowed in his later years. This is as loud and heavy as any version I have heard.Same with "for your life:" the version from that night was brutally heavy.Jimmy is the coolest man on the planet.

  • I think pages more together these days, I don't know if he indulges anymore, but the JD was killing him and his ability to perform back when..doesn't appear to get that shit faced any more..he's kind better, imo with out getting trashed.unlike Aerosmith they need to drink bourbon, smoke weed,do some speed,go for the blow and play rocks and toys and draw the line, get your wings, and their debut stuff

  • I would be surprised if he is a tee totaller these days ,but he is much healthier .When Page resurfaced in 88 with Outrider I was relieved he looked so well .Alot of thought when he dissapeared ther for a few years in the 80s that he might go the way of Phil Lynott or Tommy Bolin. And I agree Aerosmith was a different thing altogether before 1980

  • Probably the her0in Page was doing wasn't helping matters. It's hard to casually indulge in

  • zep will always be zep. it'll be sad day when Plant, Page, and Jones pass on.

  • sad i think not, it will be soul breaking, i h8 knowing the fat that one day ima wake up and my friends gunna call me crying saying one of them die =(

  • zep is zep even at 90

  • Older men does it better

  • Plant needs to get off of his pissy-wagon and get on with the reunion already!..as the rest of the guys are waiting to do it...but he would rather tour with Krauss???

  • since Plant has gotten together with that hick chick Krauss, he actually has gotten really boring... not the musical genius that he used to be... I would not go and see Percy and Krauss... I would die of a broken heart to hear Robert stoop that low....

  • I wish they would have showed the solo

  • just browse around theres like 10 different vids of it. nimrod.

  • That was uncalled for dude...

  • so are you.

  • Good one.

    ...

  • Ohhhhhh noooooooo.

  • The absolute best performance of this is on the " How the West was Won 3 CD set. Its live zeppelin in L.A. in 1972. It's like 25 min. long with extra solos and stuff. The whole CD set is the ultimate Zeppelin experience. Its the best I've ever heard them sound, it will blow your mind. Check it out.

  • Is he playing that with a cello bow that he's playing with at the end?

  • Yup, that's what the song is famous for

  • AWESOME

  • but...this band made the song. You're saying they butchered it live because they're playing 30+ years after they originally released it?

  • I was not saying they butchered this song. Just that most bands do. Did you look at ARANDA's version? It;s about as good a cover as you will find.

  • Actually, Led Zeppelin never made the song.

I think it was Jake Holmes, then the Yardbirds did there version which eventually led to Page bringing it with him when he formed Zeppelin and creating the best version.

  • I dunno if you listened to the original songs, but they sound pretty dissimilar to Zeppelin's final product. It's 95% their song. They also played it differently live every tour, and individually improvised a ton.

  • i think its amazing..

  • Robert plants voice seems to have lost its trebble. Was to whole show like this?

  • His voice lost trebble many years ago. Listen to Zep boots from 1980 and it's even evident there. Nowadays, Plant performs many of his Zep tunes one key down to compensate. Songs like Black Dog, Whole Lotta Love, ya know....the high-trebble songs.

  • He hit some pretty high notes in this concert for his current range. His range is the same since his vocal surgery in 1975. Instead of going high, another way to be powerful and intense is just to go loud (to yell, basically), which is what Dazed and
