  • thanks man !!!!!! big help ..

  • This worked for me before, but now it doesn't. Got any advice on other solutions? Thanks.

  • GREAT VID WORKED TY =) I really dont see why people are complaining tbh,,,it works =S really annoying when you looking for fixes and you have annoying people disliking vids like this, just confuses me.

  • Worked. Thanks. I could do without the music, I guess, but not sure what everyone is complaining about. I'll listen to country music if it will help me fix my computer. Also, this is whu God invented a mute button.

    Thanks again!

  • this kid is a dumbass he said "it is guaranteed to work , but results may very " wtf?

  • Works like a charm thanks

  • Thx man!!! it worked for me !!!!

  • Wow, this was really helpful! Oh wait, no it WASN'T!

  • Worked like a charm. THANX!!!!

  • My computer won't even turn on with the charger and the battery inside any suggestions to this problem D:-?

  • Success! Thanks! I've been having this problem for a while. =D

  • Thanks so much PocketShadowz!!

  • Thanks a lot!! Worked for me!!! :) :) :) :) :)

  • Kinda hard for me, becuse my pc is out of battery and the charger wont work, so...... Any suggestions?

    any further suggestions???

  • OMFG!!! You have saved my life. thank you so much for the amazing video (who cares if the graphics arent the coolest??) it fixed my laptop.

  • It didn't work for me, but I'm not surprised because nothing ever does work for me.

  • awww he was just trying to help

  • it does not work and y uninstall or install it back? evern try w/o the battery, it still scanne the compliant thingy and will come back...

  • It did work for me i think i have to buy battery

  • THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I could care less about the quality of the video or the music as long as it got the job done. I thought I was going to have to buy a new battery but thanks to your video I see I don't. It worked for me so as far as the naysayers go....WATCH ANOTHER VIDEO!!! Again thank you :)

  • spelled guaranteed wrong

  • sorry didnt work for me... after doign all, still not charging

apart from that I also performed the "pressing down the power button for a minute" witht he battery removed and starting the laptop without it and then shutting down and restarting with the battery.

updating the BIOS seems to be another solution but I cant do that because that update instists that your battery has some charge left in it but in my case the battery was already flat so I cant really test that

  • This fixed my problem. Thank you!

  • SEEMS TA WORK

  • I just take out the battery and toss it around for a min, then I put it back in and it works...

  • That fix really worked for me. Thank you so much!

  • This didn't work for me, and I tried multiple times. does anyone have tips on what I could do to fix this 'plugged in, not charging' problem?

  • @Speectacular this solution didn't work for me either but i found that taking the battery out while my lap top was plugged in and running then leaving it out for about 30 mins then putting it back in worked.

  • Wow that was the best fix, worked brilliantly, thank you so much.

  • hello there i got a windows 7 acer it stops at 54% i tryed this and it didnt work

  • Damn laptop .. it's doesn't works

  • thanks alot worked on my compaq presario. thumbs uppp

  • Thanks for making this. To all the not-so-nice folks commenting, I'm sure the author will give you a complete refund of your payment.

  • Thank you so much! Goodness this was getting on my nerves running on 0% and just the chord alone. Thanks to this my computer charges now...yaaayyyyy :-)

  • thank you it helped

  • awww it didn't work for me :'( i hate my laptop

  • Doesn't work.

  • The person making this video has to be one of the dumbest idiots I have ever come across. Why don't you go watch 'life and death by powerpoint'. This guy is another typical clown that just copies things from Google without knowing what he's talking about.

  • @LeBadman Excuse me? im just sharing this cuz this is what helped me. If it didn't help you stfu n get off this channel

  • @Icemoney22 What a display of low intelligence. =)

  • @Icemoney22 lolnubgotownedlolhaxh4x

  • @LeBadman guess who else got owned? Your mother. You may now be blocked.

  • @LeBadman lol i luv u

  • OMG THANK YOU

  • You Saver! My Parent Would Have Gone Mad If I Had Said That The Charger Dont Work , Thankyouuuu!!!!

  • As of yesterday this video hit it's first birthday.

  • FOR THOSE WHO STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM just get your AC Wire out your PC, twist the wire and plug it back in thumbs up so people can see! or watch this video : /watch?v=tNHY0MzxfgY&feature=related

  • I agree the video was a little hard to watch but your advice was good and solved my problem. Thanks Icemonkey!

  • it worked for a while. it's keep on coming back what should i do? Toshiba M600

  • Here Ill write it here, thumb it up for ppl toType see

    Step 1 : Click Start

Step 2 : Type Device manager and click it

Step 3 : click battery and click on the ACPI COMPIALINT BATTERY CONTROL METHOD

Step 4 : unplug battery for 1 min

Step 5 go back to device manager click scan for hardware changes and plug back in FIXED

  • @PocketShadowz You don't just "click" on ACPI; You right click and uninstall. And /remove/ the battery.

  • @PocketShadowz worked perfectly, thanks! :)

  • didn't work but thanks for trying.

  • Nice Bro.

i Thought i Was Fucked, but thanks to you, im good now.^_____^

  • thanks so much!!!!!!

  • THANK YOU. I dont care about the music just thank you man!!

  • THANK YOU MAN! you saved my battery :D

  • Worked well for me. Thank you.

  • thanx man!!!! it worked!!! thanx!!! :-)

  • THANX YOUR THE BEST

  • worked like a charm... although I couldn't remove my battery! Just closed the laptop and reopened screen to log in and it automatically searched for the new device! Plugged in and charging now!

  • Thank you so much! Although the text in the video is hard as hell to read, after de-coding it, it worked like a charm (:

  • This worked like a charm! Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

  • This worked like a charm! Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

  • Eve though the video is not the best with the music and the dissolving text is somewhat annoying, the problem solve is great and works.

  • thank you soooooosooooooosoooooo much! it just went from 6% to 8% while typing this :DD

  • Thanks. It seems to only be a temporary solution judging by the fact it doesn't involve me buying a new battery, but it worked. Thanks, but I agree that you should cut down on the music and use more to-the-point animations in your videos, the advice itself was sound , though.

  • thanksssssssssssssssssssssss

  • YAY it worked! thank you so much! (it still sais 0% now but it says it's charging now at least...)

  • thanks bro

  • Bro ur a legend thanks :)

    deadset life-saver

  • dammit still persist .dammit dammit dammit ive tried everything now

  • as soon as i heard the music and saw the background, i stopped it.

  • what a horrible movie. the music is unnecessary, the background is distracting, it is almost impossible to read, and the slow dissolve is annoyingly slow.

tips; replace the music with someone reading the text, change the background, or use a video of you actually doing it. if it is just text, then why is it a video?

  • @blacksnake681 I agree completely. I had to press pause and fast forward it by pulling the tab along.

But the method worked like a charm, thanks icemonkey

  • @blacksnake681 This is coming up soon...just be patient. this was a quick video I did one night...and I was too tired to do an actual video seeing it was 4AM in the morning

  • @Icemoney22 at first i thought you might have meant 4 AM at night, so thanks for clarifying

  • @blacksnake681 I think it was to promote this crappy freestyle of his

  • @CharlesU87 This isn't my music.

  • @blacksnake681 GOOD POINTS

  • to remove battery?

  • DPrizzy :D WOOT WOOT

  • @Csanimate Gotta love him. Prizzy FTW!

  • didnt work, coulda saved alot of time by just laying out the steps right away instead of the auto tune and slow effects.

  • Worked for me thanks - very straightforward.

  • THANK YOU! I THOUGHT MY LAPTOP WAS BROKEN! :o

  • thank you:)! <33

    i owe you dude:O!

  • OMG THANK YOUUU!!!!!! :D

  • saids base systam device X

  • it worked but after it said device driver was not succesfully installed?

  • can you close the screen when taking the battery out?

  • THANK YOOU <3

  • niceeeeee! worked for me, at least for awhile i hope. didnt care for the moving background tho, but still good tho! thanks!

  • I tried this and it didn't work, and the battery on my laptop is dead.

  • how do i keep the computer on if the battery is out an the charger is not providing power to the computer?

  • What if the laptop is dead???

  • And just retried it, working now. Thank you!!

  • Didn't work for me :(

  • Thank you soooooo much. I have had this problem before. Last time i sent my laptop out to get fixed cuz it was still covered, and it got fixed, but then my battery's life ended, so i had to get a new battery, and as soon as i put the new battery in, this happened, but now its fixed, thanks man.

  • It worked but please don't put letters on similarly colored backgrounds!

  • Worked for me! :D Awesome, thanks a bunch!

  • THANK YOU!

  • The problem is your fucking autotune song.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

  • THANKYOU!!!!! it worked!!

  • All I had to do was got to Start>Device Manager>batteries>Scan for Hardware changes. Problem fixed.

  • @LTJessup

Dude, thanks, that worked in like two seconds.

  • gr888888888888888 dude its working i have toshiba l655 but now is wokringggg coooooooooooooooooooooooool thanks alot

  • Thanks <3

  • didnt work for me :s thank again fucking HP -.-

  • Works perfect, thanks!

  • ..but to be honest, I can't see how this would work - I have a dual-boot OS Windows Vista and Ubuntu Linux. Ubunto doesn't charge the battery either - so it's got to be a hardware or BIOS issue, not Windows. However, maybe windows can affect the BIOS or something. I will try it out later and post my result. Cheers.

  • I have a Dell M1730 with this problem - the battery went to 0% just after warranty (like 14 months or so). For the last couple of years I just leave it plugged in with a dead battery and flashing orange light. No way will I reward Dell by buying a battery. I'll never buy a laptop from Dell ever again - what a scam. I've been reading all over the net how others have the same experience with Dell laptop batteries dying a year after new. Well, if the device manager fix works, I'll post again.

  • it was not charging for a few seconds, but then it started charging, thank you so much!!!!

  • music is terrible

  • oh wait. it's working! thanks!

  • but only for a second it worked.....i thought it was gunna fully work. sigh! i was excited for a moment there.

  • wow! thanks it worked for me!!!

  • @NutsToRail For me too!

  • Did not Work!!!

  • tried it,still not charging. i tried to flash to the newest bios, nothing happened:( i have a lenovo g530. the win7 says, that it's plugged in,charging but it stays at 0%. if i turn off my notebook and plug in the ac adapter the only thing happenes, that the red light is flashing on the side of the notebook (if it's charnging, that the red light is always shining and if it's more charged (i think 20%) it comes to blue). does my battery died forever? thanks for reply, and help.

  • thanks for the help mate but unfortunately it didn't work for me, I did scan for hardware changes, the icon came back, but with the same 'plugged in, not charging' message :(

  • nice1! followed the steps and fixed the problem instantly!

  • i tried it out ,.. the laptop runs without the battery .. but ... doesn't fix the problem ..!!

    what to do ?

  • dude the problem is that i have a lenovo y140 and if i plug out the battery as you said .. the system comes to an end .. doesn't start even ..!! what to do ..!! should i throw it down and let my dogs enjoy it ?

  • @maxpayneriding Noooo dont do that! If my method hasn't work for you, contact your customer support. If you haven't tried the method try it! and if it didn't work the first try try again before you contact your customer service

  • try scanning then plugging in your battery. worked for mine when the other way around wouldnt

  • Seems to be working.

Batt at 56% and still charging!

    Thanks dude!

  • facebook.com/pages/Chr0me-Network-TV/130416750329765

    Like my page guys!!!

  • Fucking legend cheers mate! xx

  • thank you!!! i love you sooo much!!! my battary was about to die on me!

  • @Mickykiko will put sumthing on thats not bullshit

  • i did all the things , BUT when i put the buttery back on and clicked scan nothing worked even my mouse , (MY LAPTOP IS NEW , NOT OLD) so i had to restart it ,, after that the icon was back on but still PLUGGED IN , NOT CHARGING , i dont think it is problem of buttery or charger 1.because battery charges on other computers as i tried , 2.it says plugged in and no charges but it holds the laptop on as long as i want , so ...... thanks so much anyways ...

  • thank you!!!! to all those who it did not work, I feel for you. good luck finding another solution (if indeed there is one...)

  • didnt work for me either.... but thnx for tryin anyway

  • what about if it does it again? do i do the same technique??

  • @B2kliz yes try doing it again. if the problem lingers, contact your customer support

  • Thanx bro, saved my ass tooo.

  • thank man saved my ass

  • Good advice; shite music.

  • cant find a suscribe button :D

  • @Tehgreenerlantern above the video screen under the title. it's a gray box that says suscribe, click that

  • didnt work

  • What works for me is that I restart my laptop and when it is on it starts charging. Or when it is hibernated or shut down.

  • @Icemoney22 after searching for a solution on the internet i called them and they said it's my battery and that i have to buy a new one. the battery just worked 11 months.... packard bell sucks.

  • Didn't work .................

  • @KanalMN If this does not work then contact customer support. there may be a problem with a "needle" in your computer that needs to be fix or you might just need a new charger or battery. Like I said in the description, "Results may vary"

  • Now ACPI compliant Control Method Battery is Not on the list anymore ! HELP PLEASE right after i did these steps i took my plug out to see if it works but it shut down on me then when i came back on it says no battery detected eventhought my battery was in my laptop

  • @MimiTx3 Dont worry. you're on the right track. You have to put your battery back into your computer, go to action on the top, and click scan for hardware changes. the computer will then recognize the battery in the drive and it will come back and your computer should be fixed.

  • i followed all steps , and it still says not charging

  • wooow it worked! tnx alot, this was helpful! =D

  • thank you subbed!!!!!!!!!!

  • is that d pryde in the song

  • @taten9ne yeah

  • an easy way to fix this without cost is to have it on, with ur battery in with the charger in. if it isnt working, just take out the charger and blow into it for 5 secs, same for the hole u put it in. works all the time. u might have to try it 2 or 3 times.

  • This problem happened to me today with my gateway laptop (win7) i bought a few months ago. plug out the charger >take out the battery>turn off the laptop>hold power button for 20 seconds>then turn it back on. tell me if it works it worked for me.

  • @litdan I tried that method. it worked for me for a couple minutes. I got this remedy from a couple sources and experience

  • The stupid thing re-installed itself wtf

  • @gearsow12 Thats the whole point. You may have to reinstall the driver for it to get back up and running again

  • @Icemoney22 oh well it didnt work for me, TY anyway

  • @gearsow12 Sorry to hear and you're welcome. call customer service, or the retailer they may be able to help you.
