Hokey and very Anglo-centric overall but still useful in some respects. The segment on Mountainous Venturi Effect, was especially good information to know about for low altitude, low performance aircraft operations near the MEA, where flying between peaks is nec.
Bottom line: If you want to conduct night operations regardless of the performance capability of your aircraft, please, please, please, go earn your Instrument Rating. You will be a more safe & competent pilot for having done so.
