  • And what about Multiplayer? if you play mario kart with somebody is ot gonna be slow then on the Non-Overclocked ds or what?

  • overclocking it changes the speed... so the light will flash differently.. if anyone thinks that that is a giveaway for 'fake and gay', does his hands move diffeently?

  • I dont think an overclock would make the game run faster, it would just make it play smoother

  • ahahahahahaha it suck at normal speed the clock on that piece of trash its just 66mhz :O

fuck dem are u fucking kidding me????

psp at normal state have 333mhz :)

just trough your ds to the trash

  • @BigBangClips pawned

  • @BigBangClips psp sucks, ds is still powerful when it comes to patching games from other systems. mhz isn't even important and that's why my psp is staying in the trash where it belongs.

  • @ajx277 And macs are faster than gaming PCs right?!? RIGHT?!? No.

  • @BigBangClips that's why your brain it's made of poo...

    nerd-.-

  • making the game play slower also makes the power light flash slower, eh?

  • @AidanNaut0 Yes.

  • @samljer No, you're wrong there. A psp with cfw allows you to change the CPU speeds, but games do not run faster like this, they run smoother because the cpu's going faster, but they don't speed up at all. :)

  • @Cwazywazy14 So did you read it? :)

  • WHAT BOTTONS DO YOU PRESS

  • soooooooooooooo fake and gay dude, your hands move differently, you suck at lying

  • Overclocking a PC is not the same as overclocking a console. PC games are designed to run on all different CPUs, so it adapts to different speeds.

All of one type of console has the same CPU, so games use the CPU's cycle time is always the same. The games rely on this clock to keep a steady time, so if you change it, it will change the game's speed too. There's no reason for a game to be designed to adapt to different clock speeds.

  • Man, cocaine is one hell of a drug!

  • whenever i close my D.s lite it turns off can someone help me give me a persnoal message or comment on my channel

  • @MrCopticforever go into the options?

  • héh_ÁnýÕNe_wÄNñÀ_chât_wìth_mÊ_Í_fÊél_sÒ_lONÈly_tòDáy┐

  • that's not overclocking, it's just changing the game speed

  • Wouldn't it overheat if over clocked too far

  • the battery's gotta run out in 10 minutes and the heat transferred to your hands can be extreme.

  • fake and jew

  • (hits face) REALLY?

  • lol it does make it faster (try overclocking an old celeron and emulate super nintendo and tell me if its not the truth xD) this is a really cool mod i wish i could do this to fuck around a bit :3

  • u guys are just taking it up the butt....THIS IS AWESOME DUDE

  • Why would you overclock a Nintendo DS Lite for, other than just messin' around? Doesn't it stress the internal components to overclock the processor?

  • c-c-c-combo beaker

  • lol 666th comment

  • My DS can play Crysis maxed out settings :D

  • yep..totally fake. if you really want to convince people have something in the background that you can't control...like an hourglass or stopwatch.

  • Can it run Crysis?

  • can it run crysis? :D

  • @Emersonx13s On full setting apparently!

  • on a serious sidenote:

I'm sorry that I'm a bit sceptical, but shouldn't the soundfiles keep the same speed? At least spoken text? it sounds a bit higher pitched (don't know if i translated it right) which would be caused by playing the video faster.

  • fake flashing LED in slow-mo is slow and his hands move alot faster in fast

  • @TheGModprofessional Of COURSE they move faster in fast mode, the guy is like "OH GOD DAMN IM GONNA HIT THE WALLS NOO!" most people hands would go fast if that happened to them.

  • Quite clever, but the give-away is the "soft" transition of the blinking LED light when it is running slow ;P

  • @Tossphate your right this is fake

  • @Tossphate There are different blink codes for various speeds. 1 blink for fast, 2 blinks for ultra-fast, slowly fading in and out for slow-motion. The overclocking chip uses PWM to make the LED fade.

  • @Modd3d Thanks for your reply, in that case I see nothing here that leads me to believe this is fake. Consider this a u-turn on my part.

...but can you now do one for the 3DS? :)

  • @Tossphate I'm going to try that at some point.

  • Overclocking is suppose to smoothen the game's FPS not speed it up.

  • @mikez357 It's programmed to do that.

  • @Modd3d lol , what would be if your playing WiFi?

  • @mikez357

That is the case for PC games. However, not for most handheld devices.

  • @sonutouchiha91 Well when since I have the 5.50 GEN-B FULL on psp and when I go into its hacked or bios w/e it allows me to Overclock the CPU and the game runs alot more smoother but not fast forwarded like this.

  • @mikez357

Well let me narrow it down to Nintendo Handhelds.

  • @mikez357 dude that cpu is overclocked thats just the default settings for the cpu 333 mhz

  • @mikez357 not necessarily.....it sends more power to the graphic chip or w/e is used on what your overclocking

  • @jonbobizal Dude.. Even overclocking your GPU (the graphics chip on what you call it) will make it smoother not fast forwarded..

  • @mikez357 its called Graphics processing unit...so theres nothing wrong with calling it that :/ idk hwy your waisting your time arguing with some random guy on the internet....you must be new to the internet...Welcome sir

  • @mikez357 overclocking (well at least in pcs) is where you make the cpu run faster than normal and so it processes things faster

  • @mikez357 its the same thing smart-ass

  • @mikez357 not for consoles, the game is directly linked to the clock cycles of the hardware.

a PC thats true, but not consoles at all.

  • Comment removed

  • overclocked my ass

  • mario :D

  • This IS REAL cause the light on the DS is blinking as fast as it would while the DS is fast.

  • look at the DS light, its flashing, you can see that the video is slowed down and sped up

  • way to not drift! fag lol

  • i want this!!!

  • Clearly fake, mario kart runs full FPS on the current stock ds hardware. You could run mario kart(or any other ds game) on even a 4Ghz CPU and it would run at the same speed as it did on the weak current 66mhz DS's CPU. This is becuase games are programed with a timmer, this means the gameplay won't spead up on realy fast hardware, for example pc games, I have a powerful gamming pc, yet when I play games from 2003 they won't play faster, becuase there programed not to do so, only thing that will

  • @happygamestvfun1 Change will be the Frames Per Second, but NOT the gameplay speed. same with this mario kart game, how could you change the speed of the gameplay when you "overclocked" the CPU, "if" however you did overclock the ds the game would run a the same speed. Mabey you should post a toturial how to over clock the ds? I'm shocked you even managed to underclock it! How could you manage to do all that when you don't even know how to use a action replay 300cc race code? mmm would have been

  • @happygamestvfun1 more convincing to do learn about speed cheat code, then just speeding up the movie acording to the 'soposed' overclocked amount... that is unless you overclocked your slow brain also, and now you have super human speed, I mean look at your hands go! there very fast you have to teach me how to speed up my hands like that too! Keep up with the fake vid's, but next time make them more convincing, were not all that dumb.... ;)

  • haha when it goes "slow mooooo" the power button blinks super slow FAKE

  • Neat

  • BECAUSE YOU OVERCLOCK THE GAME , THE FPS DON`T UP A LOT!!

THE GAME HAVE A FPS LIMIT!

    THIS IS A FAKE

  • a function on m3ds real is slow down or speed up time

  • His hands move faster while the game move faster xD,FAKE :D

  • lol thats not overclocked , why would it make the game speed up

  • This is fake. If you notice when he speeds up the games speed, his hands move faster, and when it slows down, they move slower.

  • @DisasterPiece0302 wow, not fake dude. He had to move his hand faster to not crash his kart. DUUUAAA!

  • I just got the R4 gold with 38% off at R4i co uk!

    Used wow38 at the checkout..nice!

  • lol overclocked nintendo ds . \i love you guys and your crazy tinkering and tweaking of every fucking electronic that comes your way looool its fucking awesome , oh thank god im born in this time . imagine 200 years ago talking about a nintendo ds tweaking =)

  • Overclocking a processor has nothing to do with the games speed. Nothing.

  • i thinnk its fake and its just the video spped up and down look at the grren batery light the whole video

  • Wow, this totally opens up the possibility of doing Tool-assisted Speedruns for the DS in the future. We just need a good method of freezing states now.

  • If you play overclocked on wifi...does that mean you move faster than everyone else? lol

  • OMG now i just got to watch the tutorial! i want to do this to mine >:D

  • lmao

overclocking computers at least makes sense, but overclocking a DS?

    really?

  • to all the know it alls that think it's a fake video you know it all because you refuse to learn; and lack the technical skills to see the possibilities, fake or not use this video to inspire you

  • can you do this to dsi's

  • awesome!

  • nope. wats the point of dsi? all the difference is some new fancy ass stuff. taking photoes and relation check isnt that good. It said i was related to a spoon.

  • @Iam1mil i agree..lots of reviews say if you have a ds lite..dnt bother getting a dsi..it's not worth it..besides..me and my ds lite..we are like..ONE!

  • i bet u loved the ds lite until the dsi came out so shut up!

  • @Airbourne4 u know what why dont u shut the heck up im sorry i said dsi was the best now shut up

  • @Airbourne4 any way no arguing i mean its a freaking ds

  • @irockcuzirock1 Why spend money on a dsi if u already have a normal ds lite and ds lite has backwards compatibility with the gba so suck :P

  • it is fake because the light blinking speed changes. and thats not part of the game so it wouldnt be effected

  • the hands seem to change with each speed..

am i the only one thinking he just edited him playing?

  • me too

  • @Gearsguy405 Nope.

  • @AlecTeal You can do it that way? Cool. Do you have a tutorial?

  • What changing the IRQ's no thats a hardware thing.

  • @AlecTeal Hehe, he's not even smart enough to do that! Look at his hands when he shows you the "overclocked" speed, look at his hands go, see how fast they are going... He merly just speed this movie up at certain points with a movie editor.

  • @AlecTeal actualy its not

sence ur eather fuckin stupid or don't know much about emulation ill break it down for ya

R4'S do not work on the ds light (last time i checked at least) and u have to have the old bulky ds to use them

  • @HellsAngels0012

thats strange because i've actually got an r4 for my DsLight, i cant comment about the Dsi

anyway, get your shit together i'll do a pic if its needed

  • @AlecTeal plz do that would actualy be helpfull because from what i heard it doesent work

  • @HellsAngels0012

R4s works fine on the normal Nintendo DSLite. It doesn't work so well with the Nintendo DSi due to hardware changes but there are workarounds to make it load and there are some clones which supposedly work. I have an R4 here (one of the originals) and it worked fine.

  • @AlecTeal What do you mean? I actually don't even know what he means by overclocked or underclocked. Embarassing, I know. Can someone here teach me?

  • what happens if you play like overclocked on wifi?

  • @sortofawesome It depends on the game but mostly you can get away with it even if the two systems are running at different speeds.

  • @sortofawesome you go into beast mode and rape everyone

  • @sortofawesome I saw a video where the overclocked player actually got way ahead. His system basically assumes the normally clocked machines are experiencing lag.

  • It's pretty interesting how this doesn't crash the DS. A lot of other console hardware would, or at least glitch out (like the Genesis tends to).

Perhaps modern hardware is more clocking resistant, since over- and underclocking hardware has become increasingly more common.

  • lol it would be cool if it did that on normal pcs too...

  • what does modded mean?please someone comment on my video saying what it is!

  • modded means to tamper with, to mod or change from original form

  • Mod > modify? It's not that difficult to figure out, and even if you don't, Wikipedia has an excellent article explaining modding.

  • anyways, in fact the ds is 100 mhz by original (66 mhz core, and a 33 mhu core) but in lack of this, the 33 mhz core is used for the sounds.. aww ):..

  • @AR5T7

The ARM7 core is also used for WIFI, and touch screen.

  • overclocking dosent result in a sped up game normally

  • why would you need/want that?

  • ...and wrote a whole tutorial on how to do the mod. Heh, that would have been an awful lot of work for a fake video.

  • @Modd3d

Can you use that to cheat in an online race?

  • plus, when the video is supposably speeded up and slowed down, why do his hands move at the same rate? let me guess photoshop right? hahaha loser

  • Probably fake.

But tell you what, it would be funny if someone overlocked a DS to the point of it overheating. Imagine the look the repair serivce guys would give him.

  • FAKE! FAKE FAKE FAKE, he didnt overclock, Thats bullshit, Its a fake video

  • I see dry bones in first place! DRY BONES RULES!

  • There are other overclocking methods which are better in my opinion, such as the on on hack-a-day.

  • If he were to have sped up the video or slowed it down, why would the battery light blink when he pressed L, R and Select? Dur, it's not hard to overclock something. The button combination just let you swap between the different CPU crystals, probably. And the battery status light is an indicator of the change. =p

  • he has a tutorial on how to do it and it works... so i doubt its fake

  • Could this overheat the DS or is it like the PSP where it was meant to go this fast but was slowed to preserve battery life?

  • Its fake

And yes, even if you overlock it much, it will probably overheat.

They wouldnt clock it slow, if it could be much faster without problems, right?

  • Well, the PSP can go up to 333MHz but Sony underclocked it to 222MHz when it first came out to preserve battery life so heat isn't the only reason a portable processor would be underclocked.

  • Smart man.

  • This is sped up, nothing to do with overclocking. Overclocking a CPU will increase the clock speeds, to make it able of handling more, and it does not affect the speed of the games.

  • That's only really true in the case of PC games which are built to run on many different kinds of processors and therefore check themselves against other things like framerate, console games expect to always be played on the same unit, so if you slow down or speed up the clock, the game will slow down or speed up along with it.

  • @superbob314 No, not true, so your telling me when the game comes to a part with, with little to prosses, the game will speed up uncontrolably? So if i was playing a shooting game, and i looked at the ground, the game would speed un and i could run faster? I don't think so. Besides this video is fake, you can clearly tell it's on fast play, look at the girls hands...

  • @happygamestvfun1 Wow, this is an old comment, but no, that's not what I'm saying at all. The game runs at a fixed frame rate, based on the clock speed of the Nintendo DS unit, because it expects a certain speed, it runs at a certain frame rate. The speed of the internal clock doesn't speed up or slow down based on resources used, it's a fixed number. There's a number of old DOS games that will actually play too fast to control on a modern PC because they work on the same principle.

  • @happygamestvfun1 Woe your a complete idiot learn some knowledge

  • @sonicadxWhy? you dont need any knowledge to know this is fake, just a pair of eyes with decent eyesight, to see that this is just a speed up film, I mean look at his hands, what is he superman?

  • @happygamestvfun1 then again it is fast but he could either be trying to play cause the games faster

  • @sonicadx LOL it's obvious, its fake, look at his hands movments, his either on a heck load of caffine but even then... look at his twitch movments, i mean realy...

  • @happygamestvfun1 when I was checking my inbox it said 56 comments i was like :O but I checked and it was only you lol.

  • @sonicadx Well arnt you a lucky chuppy

  • @happygamestvfun1 lol XD

  • lol u can tell by the way his hands change

  • Actually, it's not sped up. See, increasing the clock speeds on a Game Boy or a DS will increase the speed of the gameplay for some odd reason.

For example, I'll take the Original Game Boy for example, the clock speed is 4.194MHz. I currently have in my possession, twenty crystal oscillators, which are each of 8MHz. That's nearly double. (finding one of 8.388MHz would be very difficult)

Point is, I bought them to overclock Game Boys, as I've gotten into modding recently.

    Cheers mate. :)

  • crystal oscillators? muy chingon el little smartass

  • no u fag u can tell by his fngers

  • In MS-Dos and some occasional PC games have a non-controlled speed (not sure what to called it), if you play games it isn't going to slow down because of the lack of control. Using MS-Dos box put control on speed that regular MS-Dos failed to do.

  • "non-controlled speed (not sure what to called it)"

Based on CPU ticks, I believe. The original Rollercoaster Tycoon does this and runs so fast on modern computers it's really unplayable unless you throttle your CPU.

  • who needs this???

is it usefull when you didnt have enogh time to play or what??? "damn peter, i only have 5 Minutes to play, but the level needs 7" - " hey overclock it and play it in 4, scotty"

paying 25$ for shitty gamplay?i don't think so

  • he plays badly

  • Battery life?

  • what does overclocked mean? ;-0?

  • It means making a system faster than it was originally designed for.

  • it means the game system runs and plays games faster than it should

  • u cant beat mariokart !!

  • i think you're mistaking the word "overclock" for "spedup gameplay

  • well one thing that isn't mistaken is that this jackass just wasted 1:09 of my time

  • I doubt the DS wouldn't be able to play the game the that fast if it was running normally, it even says the speed the CPU is running at up the top.

  • O_o

  • overclocking the ndslite would be very ideal for the internet browser no more slow louding times, will underclocking the console is cool to see how a less powerfull chip could handle annything without crashes.

  • Yeah, no. You'd overclock your processor, not the speed of the internet sadly. Sorry.

  • yes, but it's not that slow at downloading the pages (it is..., but...) but it would speed the page 'creating' process...

  • Overclocking this would be cool for fun but why actually keep it that way? lol

  • Can you over clock a dsi? And if so how do you do this stuff?

  • I'm not sure. I haven't tried that one yet.

  • The slower speeds are sweet

    It's like...

"Hey, we're racing, sure, but who's in a rush? :chill:"

  • lol

  • So what's the point of doing this?
