The Ron Paul cult are the people who think that Ron Paul can do No Wrong and is always right on every issue.
I find Ron Paul to be an opportunist - he takes earmarks for his congressional district and then he denounces earmark spending in speeches. Paul didn't bother to run against George Bush in 2004 when the Iraq war was at its worst - he just sat on the sidelines and did practically nothing (and George Bush was re-elected).
Great video. I hear your point about Ron Paul, but can you really say either of the majors have or are prepared to really do anything across the board? Even Obama; he probably had a better gig as Senator. He should have pushed for Freeman more. It's what is systemically wrong with government. Until Congress is reformed by America's peoples, the activities of ANY president, even the bad about Bush, will more likely resemble unconstitutional separations graspings than anything meaningful.
As long as Congress is screwed up on any national issue, because of influence other than the majority rule, there is ALWAYS going to be executive and judicial problems that are detrimental to the most basic interests of the country. More imoprtant than the government selling out is the very inherent and core constitutional principles of the country, its separation of powers, and its laws being sold out. It's went full circle to render the entire system almost entirely incapacitated.
You cannot equate the sayings of some Ron Paul people with ALL Ron paul people. That is simply inaccurate and unscientific. Paul referred in the primaries to Paul O'Neill who said during the first meeting before 911 they already talked about bombing Iraq. Michael Scheuer and Philip Giraldi, both CIA, were also two of Paul's foreign policy advisers.
@morpheous7 as soon as you criticize Israel, or Jews. or AiPac, or any Jewish person.... they call you anti-Semitic, .. you Jews need to realize we don't criticize you because you are a Jew... we criticize you because of your murderous actions and lies through the media....
It is only a small/condensed source of many that kind of sums up, well the Obama deception in less than an hour. Kinda like Obama for Dummies.
Oh, and I have been voting for Nader since he ran against Nixon. He has actually been on every ballot since.
"AND WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE VOTE DID HE/SHE GET?" Is not relative. The fact is every year he gets more, every year one or one million more people wake up to reality.
Asking "WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE VOTE DID HE/SHE GET?" Is a very ignorant statement.
What percentage of cattle on slaughter farms doesn't get slaughtered and eaten? What percentage of folks on the earth gets paid to do what they love most? (I do)
What percentage of folks on the earth own their own homes and land and grow their own food upon it? (I do)
What matters is who is making a difference. Who is standing up for their human rights. Who is really trying to wake people up. Who is not being led to the slaughter by Wall street, the Federal Reserve Bank and the crime syndicate.
These are the things that matters. Just imagine if everyone on earth said "What percentage of people invented the steam engine or the combustion engine? What percentage of people invented the wheel?
All you freaks who voted for Ron Paul, McCain, Bush & especially Obama should be drug through your towns by the bumper of a truck naked and shot in the streets like the dogs that you are.
Oh yes, one more thing (although we all know there are many); How about Obama keeping Gates... Never saw that one comin' huh Ralphie boy?
Even though I told you last summer that he would... 50 times...
And what about that fresh 30,000 troops to Afghani Poppies... Guess the Obliterator has some stocks ties up in pharmaceutical opiates/pain killers and street heroin huh?
Who would have guessed? (I told you this in July).
And how about getting your vote under the bullshit campaign guise of "Immediate withdraw from Iraq huh?
I like how it went from "Immediate" to "six months" to "twelve months" and now what is it? "twenty three months."
Guess Obliteration doesn't like the number 24...
But I told you all of this...
Well sit back Ralphie boy and enjoy the new world that you helped create... A cabinet, and entire political structure controlled and run by banksters, by Wall Street.
Ralph, as much as all these others were against the war, what made Ron Paul stand out was that he was running for the Republican nomination for President. We all thought, those who were against the war from the start, that at last, someone would have the stage and a voice to call it the way it was. As for Ron Paul, he didn't care one way or the other if it was a "just" war. His only concern was that it wasn't a declared war.
There are many reasons why Ron Paul got such a following but the one that took center stage was his willingness to speak out against the war. Of course his other positions around "free markets" the return to the gold standard and a strict constitutional government, brought out all the wing nuts too. Today he is interviewed more for his economic position, than any other, which by the way, I don't agree with at all.
Paul didn't need to even answer whether the Iraq war was "just" because he repeatedly stated that the war wasn't even *justified.* That was evidenced in his votes and stance before and after the war started. He's always insisted that executive War Powers were/are unconstitutional and that Congress should have declared war before it was initiated. And Ron Paul stood out as a Republican because the "Republicans" running for Pres didn't seem to know what Republicanism even was!
Congress has so completely bankrupted this nation and is giving out other peoples money to bail out bankrupted corporations so they can pay what are essentially criminals big bonuses. A stick in the mud Austrian economist who actual votes the way he believes is *precisely* what this country needs.
There have been firings and prosecutions over this economic crisis. I don't claim to know everything about what "theory" would work and what wouldn't. But because we aren't spending money, some one has to and the only one big enough is the gov. I believe I would like the gov to do everything they need to save the economy before giving up and letting our country decay into dust and then try and raise it again from the ashes.
As it falls, millions of people would die of starvation and violence, here and around the world. If this nation goes into the dust, so goes many other countries. Countries who would be very angry and likely to take drastic actions to assure we never rise again. At least that's the way it looks to me.
The attack on "unarmed students" at Tian'anmen (actually at Muxudi and Fuxingmen) came after many weeks, even months, in which the Chinese leadership had lost control of security in their own capital. (The troops were, in fact, fired upon at Muxudi, though it is not clear by whom.) The only surprise to me (and other realists, including, I gather, you) was that the Chinese leadership did not act earlier to restore order.

Who is this "Ron Paul cult" you're referring to? And who said Ron Paul was the only one in opposition to the Iraq war?

"OBAMA IS FAR, FAR BETTER THAN DUMBYA BUSH"
This shows shat you know not the most primary things about the reality of the current political system in the U.S.
It also shows that you are ignorant of both the Wall Street and Federal Reserve Bank systems entirely.
You may wish to do just a bit of research on this systems and a bit more on the background of each cabinet appointee.
You may also wish to watch a documentary entitles "The Obama Deception."

I repeat. "His only concern was that it wasn't a declared war." meaning that the congress didn't declare war, therefore it was unconstitutional.
