phones respond diffrently to many things, but all i would say is turn ur phone off and if the numbers start going up fast then leave it and if not then keep doing it. mine took a long time too and then in the middle of the night it came.

you didnt have to do it 20 times to get the update,

the only reason it worked after 20 times is because by that time you would recive the update. you have to do anything to get the update, every sidekick lx and slide gets it, you just have to wait!

yeah i got the upgrade i can record and send video now and the icon for the video and music player changed,,i got the ota upgrade when i first got the fone but some one told me that theres 2 upgrades is that true..couse i already got the ota when i first bought my sidekick

the update basically consists of being able to record video and a new media player. those features already come with the 2008 so u shuld b gud

it should, it depends on your phone how fast the data will be getting to you. just be paitient, if it dosnt move after a long time just restart your phone a few times more

Hey im at 1.3m bytes received what do i do now ? i did it about 10 times already & thats the highest it went to. What do i do now turn off my phone & try again or just keep it on and wait ?. The bytes trans say 88.7k & packets recieved says 1261. Help

if u did it alot of times and thats what it got to everytime then i would jsut wait and see if it will go higher, it all depends on ur phone and its speed of reciving data. if it dosnt go up in like 15 more mins i would restart it agian

if its loading slow and ur on like 400 K then restart ur phone, if its going faster then thts fine. it goes up to like 700K then to M. some take longer then others

she doing it wrong jus reset 3 to 4 times if the k 9.5k(example) shoots up to 100k in 15 second keep waiting and watch it for 20min it will for sure be there but if you waited 20 mins and your not atleast at 9.1m restart your phone 3 more times and you"ll get it........ i kno i've done 7 people phoneall in 25 min or less

everyphone recives data diffrently and at a diffrent speed. but now u know ur on ur way of getting the update. so all u can really do is either wait or restart ur phone agian
