The 'imps' were actually people who use to be in hyper sleep, they evolved really fast due to the fluid they had been receiving while asleep. This fluid was meant to help the humans evolve quickly to their new environment when they reached their destination. However when the ship ran out of power, some of the people woke up and over the 700(?) years, they evolved to be able to live on the environment of the ship. - Hope that helps :)

Watching that movie, my first question was: "If they're in space, where does gravity come from?" Obviously, this question never crossed any of the caracters minds, otherwhise they would have figured out that they already landed and counld just go launch the escape pods with a happy smile and amiddlefinger to the orcs.

I thought Pandorum was a kind of love-child style tribute to all of the original Alien movies...in chronological order. But set - of course - in a different universe entirely.

The Alien franchise is pretty much my favorite thing ever and I completely envy Bob Burns, so I having associated the creative/stylistic inspiration for this film entirely as an homage to those four movies, I naturally took a liking to it. Cool stuff.

I agree on some level, but as a whole it wasn't very compelling. After the 'imps' are introduced, I started losing interest. However, that ending was good. Overall, I call it just average.

Pandorum is pretty much a retrospective film study of Alien (and as an amalgamation of Aliens, Alien3 and Alien Resurrection). That makes it good, however.

Just saw this the other night and I went into it with SHIT expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with it. Very good Sci-Fi movie. I kinda figured out one of the twists halfway through the movie, but the second twist at the end was definitely a surprise. Overall, great movie. The only problem I had with it was that sometimes I couldn't understand what the girl was saying. Same with the black (?) guy that strings them up. And the guy that couldn't even speak English just seemed pointless.

hey, doom is awesome, at least it was before i played the game, then after i played the game i hated that fucking movie, but before i actually played the game, i loved the movie. Pandorum was awesome, and yes, i figured out the end, because they promised a surprising twist, and yes, when i figured it out, it was awesome.
